Oh yes Owen has to be Greg, it could all tie together. Funny how Regina is just loving that she and rumple are the only ones to remember. Haha of course Emma had to spoil it. I know the creator said there is one very specific reason why they wrote this episode now and it would make sense in terms of the Greg storyline.
Its very clear that she is VERY uncomfortable with everyone acting plain normal around her(the way she reacted to the food, lol) and at the same time she is fearful that the lie will fall apart at any second.
That 3 second Regina/Granny interaction made me wonder what their story is. She's supposed to have some past with Rumple as well. Granny is such a promising character and we barely even know anything about her.
Great acting from LP in this. That almost childlike smile when she's served her pancakes, the surprise and shock around the boy and his father... good stuff.
I'm fascinated by it. Because her handshake looks so gentle and not at all dominant. Which, given the fact that she is the Evil frickin Queen, is just... amazing.
Makes sense. In a podcast, Kitsis & Horowitz said it was not a coincidence that his name is Greg Mendel, like the geneticist/monk. It sounds like an alias.
"I don't like surprises, Sheriff, I find them threatening. And do you know what happens when I feel threatened?" Yes we do, Regina. People usually die. LOL
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I really liked this scene, and am really hooked on the theory that Owen is Greg, Thanks for uploading the video I sent!
ReplyDeleteI can't stop laughing at the way Regina looks at the boy. "Huh?"

ReplyDeleteOh gods this Regina is hilarious.

Gold didn't even remember at this point.
ReplyDeleteAww, Gepetto :(
ReplyDeleteRegina and children should be fun to watch. It was great in True North, looks like will be great here as well.

ReplyDeleteLana really has chemistry with everyone and everything. I mean look at that handshake.
ReplyDeleteWhen you look in newspaper, you will see the release date: 1983. These are the first days of the curse.
ReplyDeleteYep. That's the premise of the episode.
ReplyDeleteOh Regina, you are the most ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be so fun!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to see what kind of personality Regina gave Gold.

ReplyDeleteWhat's the name of the guy Gold tried to kill with the fireball? Any chance he and this kid are one and the same?
ReplyDeletehmmm, interesting theory... sounds very plausible to me!
ReplyDeleteAccording to Kitsis & Horowitz, Gold didn't remember until he heard Emma's name. It wasn't very clear, of course.
