Thanks to TVMONKEY for the heads up.

Just Go With It and Battleship star Brooklyn Decker is set as a lead opposite James Van Der Beek in Dana Klein’s CBS comedy pilot Friends With Better Lives, which is directed by James Burrows. The multi-camera project, from 20th Century Fox TV and Aaron Kaplan’s Kaplan Entertainment, revolves around six 30-something friends who each think the other has it better. Decker will play one of them Jules, a former model who was discovered in a mall when she was 13.

  1. hmmm not sure about this one, for as hot as Brooklyn is, I'm not convinced that she can help carry a comedy show. Of course JVB will probably carry the bulk and he was great in Apt 23

  3. She was surprisingly good on The League. She played one of the most despicable female characters on a comedy I've come across in a while. If anything, my concern is that her character on this show will be to vanilla.

  4. So, basically, she's playing herself. I didn't watch any of her recent guest spots on TV, but she was very bland and forgettable in Battleship. I'll be watching this one for Dawson :)

  5. Good point, I had forgotten her turn as Gina Gibiatti... she did do a good job there
