Trailer Teaser
“We are all that stands between this creature and the destruction of this world”

I enjoyed this episode more the second time I watched it if I'm honest, cracking character driven plot though it does seem a little disjointed in places. Overall it reminded me of The Beast Below crossed with Mos Eisley Cantina and some some gorgeous CGI thrown in.
ReplyDeleteHow does it compare with the rest of the series, as good or under average?
ReplyDeleteWe don't ever kill
ReplyDeletenot quite, but a really good guess :)
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I thought it was fairly average on my first viewing but enjoyed it more the second time round. It really does have some wonderful little scenes and dialogues (11 in particular has a couple of great, thou short, speeches), but I think the pacing of it is a lil out overall.
ReplyDelete“Come on then, take mine, take my memories. But I hope you've got a big appetite because I have lived a long life and I have seen few things.”
ReplyDeletespot on :D
ReplyDeleteWe don't wander off? It is Rule 1 after all...
ReplyDeleteAlong the right lines :)
ReplyDeleteThese teases definitely got me interested in the episode, I definitely have a feeling this episode is gonna be the best one of the new batch of episodes
ReplyDeletewe don't walk away... easy! it's in the trailer...
ReplyDelete“I came here a long time ago, with my *************.”
ReplyDelete“I came here a long time ago, with my GRAND DAUGHTER.”
That's no answer! :P
ReplyDeleteit's not a negative answer :o
ReplyDeleteThanks for the teasers. I have a feeling this Episode will compare to 'The Beast Below', 'Gridlock', 'The Long Game', 42, 'The End Of The World' etc. they will face an initially very mixed reaction but will slowly grow a loyal fan base. Do you think I may be on the right lines?
ReplyDeletePS. Would you say the pacing is ThHe main criticism of the Episode...?
ReplyDeleteIt is for me I think, there are some timey wimey aspects to it that I know some fans who criticize certain 'tropes' will dislike, but I love that side of the show we are getting to see under Moffat so bring em I say :)
ReplyDeleteYou must right, because DoctorWhoTV lists Susan as a teaser! Good guess!
ReplyDelete"The TARDIS doesn't like Clara..."
ReplyDeleteOooh, this should be interesting.
“I will always come and find you, every single time”
ReplyDeleteIf The Doctor says that to Clara I may just have a moment. ngl, I think how much they adore each other is the most charming thing I've seen in a long time.
Ah, that is very good. I also love the Moffat 'timey wimey' side of the show. The more complicated DW becomes, the more it inherently feels like an Episode of Doctor Who - and nothing else. Does that make sense...? :D
ReplyDeleteWe don't walk away.
ReplyDeleteNo Doctor in that exchange, but Clara is part of it :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's got me intrigued too, I've no idea why sexy reacts the way she does in that scene. I hope it leads to something interesting :o
ReplyDeletecorrect
ReplyDeletePresumably Clara to the little girl then? We know she has a protective thing when it comes to children...
ReplyDeleteThey used that idea in the audios once with a companion who got mixed up with with the Sixth Doctor after departing from the Eighth. The TARDIS took exception to her muddying up the timelines.
ReplyDeleteIt's said to Clara ;)
