  1. At first I was thinking "Why is Britta there?", and then she started talking and I now know why. Although I wish everyone got to meet Jeff's dad, or maybe just Annie, or everyone.

  4. Hmm, so I guess James Brolin is the go to "absent/found TV father" right now.

  5. I think I know what is going to happen here. Jeff's dad will illustrate where Jeff will be in 20-30 years if he doesn't settle and let people in.

  6. I thought that's what Chevy's role was? Just with a little more then 30 years.

  7. That was Chevy's role in the first season. Jeff knows he doesn't want to be like Pierce that was told to us in the second episode of the show which is why he let himself get close to the group but now he still needs a catalyst for him to continue his growth as a character, which I believe his dad is. I look at this video they're already so alike.

I'd like to see Jeff take Annie to meet his mother.

  9. The point that Chevy is what Jeff will become if he doesn't open himself up more has been brought up a number of times throughout the show. But that's a good point, I can definitely see that his father will be a catalyst for further growth since it is the biggest obstacle in his path.
