EVAN LEADS MUIRFIELD TO VINCENT — Evan (Max Brown) confesses his love to Cat (Kristin Kreuk) and admits that he tipped off Muirfield to Vincent’s (Jay Ryan) whereabouts. Meanwhile, Gabe (Sendhil Ramamurthy) finds evidence that someone in the department is a mole who was working with the vigilante. Nina Lisandrello, Austin Basis and Brian White also star. Scott Peters directed the episode written by Roger Grant and Blair Singer (#117).

ReplyDeleteI try so hard to like you Evan cause deep down your a really great guy but BUILD A BRIDGE AND GET OVER IT! Catherine doesn't love you and she doesn't need your protection, gosh. I can't stress how much he stresses me out, I'm scared cause his sleeping with the enemy and I don't want him to get hurt.
ReplyDeleteUntil I read this synopsis I thought the idea of killing Evan of was ridiculous. Now even I'm starting to wonder about it. With all of his stupid decisions he's just asking to take a bullet.

ReplyDeleteI wonder if Muirfield will be easier to fight off than Gabe, who seems to be a lot more than he appears to be... I want to see more Vincent, Cat and JT fight sequences like they did fighting Muirfield agents in episode 4. That was amazing!!

ReplyDeleteI like this idea but does anyone else feel that they are rushing things a bit? Evan confesses his love for Cat, already? Yes it's obvious to see he loves her but it seems rushed to me.

ReplyDeleteI think he only did it to show Cat that he is doing all of this to protect her and I believe that he does love her. But we have to remember that Cat likes "Bad Boys" and Evan is far from that.
ReplyDeleteSorry, but I feel bad for Evan, he loves Cat and I think all his actions are because he wants to protect her. He wasn't to know she is in love with anyone else, let alone the vigilante. I really hope things don't end badly for Evan. Would be great if he ended up working with vincent, cat and JT

ReplyDeleteI don't think Evan is going dark. I think he will come around. For the story to work they would need his help anyways. I would think 'heart of darkness' easily refers to Gabe. He seems crazy dark to me.
ReplyDeleteI keep remembering when Vincent leaves Cat's room after she was shot and Vincent and Evan passed each other in the hospital hall. Evan was clueless but I felt so bad for Vincent because Evan was free to visit her and Evan had a smug look on his face like "I just saved her" and Vincent had to stand by without Evan knowing how important he was in getting Cat out as well as in her personal life, like he was nobody! :( It would be nice for Vincent to be able to take Evan down a peg or two.
ReplyDeleteI think the character of Evan has been built up for redemption. His character seems the kind of guy who will eventually understand that if he really loves and respects Cat he will help her. Even if it means helping Vincent stay safe and be a spy against Murfield. I can totally see seens with him and Vincent and Cat, looking up at them from the corner of his eyes and seeing his heart break inside them slowly over time. Eventually I think he will be killed doing something very valiant and heroic. Well that's how I would write it.
