The series has promoted Manu Bennett to series regular for its recently announced second season, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.

    How many regulars can they have.. there's going to be a bloodbath at the season finale in this rate.. I love his character though and hope to see him in the present too and not just in the island.

    Well in the case of Bennett I think it is locking him to a contract so they can use him whenever an episode fits him.

    I feel like either Moira or Thea is going to get iced by season's end. I could see it going either way: Moira dying would force Ollie to take over the company, and Thea dying would put Roy Harper on a quicker path to Speedy/Red Arrow/Arsenal

    Felicity and Slade have already appeared in pretty much every episode recently. The only character whose screentime will actually be significantly promoted from the new regulars is Roy, unfortunately..

    There are 7 regulars this season and 3 new for next season. I doubt there'll be 10 so I think we will say goodbye to 1-2 regulars at least by the end of this season.

    I guess his character is supposed to join the Arrow team so it makes sense why he would be coming back.
