Roy & Thea. The two aspects of Arrow that I'm just not into. Thea could be great if they'd give her better material. Having her work with Laurel was a damn good idea and a convenient way to involve her more in the weekly plots but Arrow seems to be throwing that away so they can pair her up with Roy. I've got no use for Roy at all. Don't want him here, tbh.
"Roy is the only promotion I wish they could take back and undo.." I feel the same way and frankly I'm annoyed that the producers made him a regular after only one broadcast appearance on the show. I completely understand why Manu Bennett and Emily Bett Rickards were made regulars - they play very useful characters who made a tangible connection with the audience. None of that is true for Colton Haynes as Roy Harper.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Too much Roy.. looks like a filler episode to me.
ReplyDeleteProbably not wise to show a character in a dire situation who we know is going to become a regular.
ReplyDeletetoday was a filler day for me but i still lived it. not all days aka episodes have to have a big plot.
ReplyDeleteI actually loved this week's episode but don't have high hopes for next week

ReplyDeleteDitto, Roy is the only promotion I wish they could take back and undo.. I'm not looking forward to him getting more screentime.

Somehow this episode doesn't look too promising to me.
ReplyDeleteThat episode has the Dark Archer going after Moira.. now it sounds much more interesting, doesn't it? Too bad the promo is only about Roy.
ReplyDeletenow why couldn't they have gone with that..it does when you put it that way. Roy is a buzz kill for me
ReplyDeleteEspecially a character we aren't too invested in yet.
