Psych, Revolution, and Royal Pains, Suits and White Collar (all three in June/July). Also Newsroom, Perception, Rizzoli and Isles, and The Glades. Out of new shows, I'm anticipating Defiance and Orphan Black. And hopefully S.H.I.E.L.D. for the fall.
Hope it does too, so CSI NY may be saved. Same reason, different shows! Wish they'd leave alone what isn't broken. They always want to take decent shows off to get new ones with better ratings and they almost never are better.
Even when excluding summer shows, there are still a lot of new seasons/series to start soon.
Returning shows coming back before June :
1. Arrested Development season 4 (14 episodes - some glorious day in May). 2. Game of Thrones season 3 (10 episodes - March 31 on HBO). 3. The Big C season 4 (4 one-hour episodes - May 29 on Showtime). 4. Borgia season 2 (12 episodes - March 18 on Canal+). 5. Veep season 2 (10 episodes - April 14 on HBO).
Returning shows coming back before June that I'm not up to date on : The Borgias (season 3), Nurse Jackie (season 5), Magic City (season 2), Doctor Who (season 7 - part II) and Mad Men (season 6).
As for new series :
1. Rectify (6 episodes - April 22 on Sundance). 2. Bates Motel (10 episodes - March 18 on A&E). 3. Orphan Black (10 episodes - March 30 on BBC America). 4. Rogue (10 episodes - April 3 on DirecTV). 5. Vikings (9 episodes - March 3 on History). 6. Top of the Lake (7 episodes - March 18 on Sundance). 7. Da Vinci's Demons (8 episodes - April 12 on Starz). 8. Hemlock Grove (13 episodes - April 19 on Netflix). 9. Defiance (13 episodes - April 15 on SyFy). 10. And two comedies : Maron (IFC) and Inside Amy Schumer (Comedy Central).
Out of the above probably Dancing with the Stars as its always a bit of fun and gives Castle a bit fo a boost, otherwise I'm also looking forward to The Client List and I had been looking forward to Body of Proof which returned last week. I cant say I know much about the new shows as I'm trying to stay away from starting anything new while I'm writing exams. I'm sure I will end up watching most of them eventually :-) seeing as I am a certified TV addict. I'm also looking forward to my summer favourites though I have to give up my fall favourites to enjoy them.
I'll be watching Revolution and maybe a few episodes of Psych, but Golden Boy is the only one that actually has me interested right now. Unfortunately, I won't be watching it since I have too many shows on my plate as is.
Mostly, Grimm. Then Celebrity Apprentice. Just because it is an all star season. Because it's reassuring to know how hard it is to succeed in life for even these personalities / egos. Finally, ready for the live variety that is Dancing With the Stars.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
i'm actually looking forward to orphan black (BBC America) and Defiance (Syfy)- both new. Out of returning shows, Psych and Revolution.
ReplyDeleteI hope Golden Boy fails miserably at ratings and viewership so TGW and TM fans (including me) get their shows renewed.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, looking forward to GoT returning.
