Under the Dome has cast its lead role: Actor Mike Vogel has signed on to the CBS thriller as Dale “Barbie” Barbara, an Army veteran who arrives in the small town of Chester’s Mill on a mysterious mission.

    Dale Barbara was about 28 - 30 in the book and Vogel is a few years older than that. I think it's a good casting choice - not great, "wow" thing, but still good. I hope they cast Julia with someone in her early 40's.
