Really? Crossing Klaus comes back to bite you in the ass so fast? Who would have guessed. You guys on the beach remember Klaus actually working with you earlier, right? He was the one who went to "Italy" to get the sword. Maybe you shouldn't have double-crossed him quite so many times. Because I'm going out on a limb and saying you aren't going to be able to make him mortal and you are going to want/need his help against Silas. And given the number of times he's relented and saved Caroline, she needs to take off the miss priss attitude. Because I like her, but I don't like her like this.
He isn't "precious," he's useful. The plotline where everybody runs around dumping on him and plotting against him and then turning around and begging for mercy and for him to treat them nicely is tiresome. Caroline was pleading for her life two minutes ago and now she's acting all high and mighty. That is also tiresome.
he tried to kill her TWICE why should she be nice to him. it sounds like your saying that they should just obey his every order because god forbid they make him angry.
She should be nice to him or chastened or at least chagrined because two minutes ago he could have killed her and didn't. Don't cop an attitude with someone who can kill you. Yes, god forbid or he might kill your mother or your girlfriend or you. He's dangerous.
Most of these characters run around on emotion. I'm asking for logic. If you are going to need something from someone, don't piss that someone off. Enemies don't do you favors. If you don't want someone to kill you, don't threaten to kill them. Cause, effect. Logic. I would like the characters to act more logically. Because everyone with a brain knows they are going to need Klaus again--they need him now. And what incentive does he have to come help them? None. So in five minutes when Caroline has to come back and beg again, wouldn't it have made more sense for her to not be such a B now?
Klaus said ep. before last that he only wanted to find the cure to destroy it and that he would have killed them all afterwards. Plus he saved Caroline because HE loves her. Thats was for his own interests.
They all knew Klaus wanted to destroy the curse, but he might have let a few of them "take" it first, like Elena...and I don't think he really meant he was going to kill them he was just saying it because he was pissed at them. They all have their own agendas and interests--that's how people act. He saved Caroline because she played the "you have good inside and maybe someday I'll love you" card, which happened to fit her interests. And two minutes later she is back to being a jerk.
there you go again with caroline manipulated him to "fit her interest"REALLY. the man tried to kill her, she had every right to attempt to save her own life by manipulating the very person who just tried to kill her.
They do realize that Bonnie's spell is about to expire any minute now right? How are they going to find the cure and return to MF in time to make him human again?I'd say stay on this island,MFers! The man in black is better than the wrath of Klaus! And can't they use Jer's scent to track him down? They are vampires a.k.a. predators, after all. They're just going to waste precious time waiting for Caroline to decipher the map?
She totally did. @twitter-39523926:disqus said Klaus acted in his interests. I said so did Caroline. So does everyone. I don't mean to sound all Ayn Rand-y but rational people generally speaking act in their own best interests. The fact that these characters are not being rational is what bugs me. They are being short-sighted and silly. I'd like them to play a longer game and short-circuit the antagonize Klaus, beg forgiveness loop.
Yeah I think that's my reason for not enjoying this season. For every one step they go forward, they take two steps back (cheesy saying I know) but that's how I see it.
Using Caroline to get things from Klaus has become tedious now, and I lost a lot of respect that Stefan would even suggest it (on a similar note, this storyline has ruined his character, along with everyone elses minus Klaus).
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
bamf walk <3 love caroline, can't help but be disappointed at this current storyline though.
ReplyDeleteI'm okay with the storyline. My objection is to the overly slow pace of the storyline.

ReplyDeleteremember why caroline's life needed to be saved so many times in the first place. your precious klaus isn't so innocent

ReplyDeleteWhy, why, why did they hop over to this island WITHOUT THE SWORD? Did the writers suddenly just remember the sword was supposed to be Important??

ReplyDeleteAh, the recap scene for people who missed last weeks episode. Disappointing.
