Daniella Pineda (Fitzgerald Family Christmas) has landed a regular role in the potential Vampire Diaries spinoff The Originals. Pineda will play Sophie, a witch whose magic has been silenced but not snuffed. A leader and a sexy, sharp-tongued social force, she is quietly sowing the seeds of a revolution amongst her peers.

    It's nice that we will be getting more witches, but the show needs to bring in Sebastian Roche and Nate Buzolic, even if it's just for flash backs

    I still hope that Silas will resurrect the necessary characters for the spin off. Its like, come on, they are The originals! I would want the five brothers, Finn included and of course his evil dad would give and awesome plot: "Daddy is coming back for Christmas to kill us". Bring them back in their own bodys, so yeah I second your petition! Hope Julie Plec is reading in Internet because there is a lot of people who wants this!

    It will be great if all of them were resurrected for the spin off, but i would still be happy with flashbacks, we have over 1000 years of story to tell. Sebastian Roche actually tweeted to Nate: "sorry you died,son, you'll be back, we'll be back haha :)))" Hope that means they know something about coming back

    I'm hoping Kol is brought back. I absolutely love Sebastian Roche with a passion, but I don't think he could have much of a storyline. What would stop him trying to kill his siblings? IDK, I just feel if Michael came back it'd just go back to him trying to murder Klaus...

    this is great and all but they need to either have rebekah there or have her as a regular on tvd already, those are the news i want. I actually might prefer her in mystic falls since i like her with stephan so much

    I agree. I´m getting bored with TVD and I´m starting to think that the spin off sounds better. I love Klaus and will watch it just for him. I hope they bring Rebekah on too. If they could just get Caroline aswell, then there would be no more reason to watch TVD (I know, that´s not gonna happend).
