  1. After all the crap Ethan has gotten into, what could be so bad that it would potentially ruin his relationship with Dan?

  2. Fair warning total speculation!! I think Teresa gets killed. Ethan tells Dan about the twins and the fact that Ethan knew the secret that got Teresa killed blows up the brotherhood. I really hope I'm wrong and they pull something outta left field though.

  3. I also hope that doesn't come to pass. I don't want a return to boozy douchebag Dan from the beginning of the series.

  4. I definitely like new Dan. I think he and Ethan have had some good simple scenes together. I really enjoyed the Teresa/Dan/Ethan dynamic and ribbing before the dance. But with the way TV works, I think they are giving us good vibes and getting us hooked on happy and functional before they rip it away--it hurts more that way.

  5. I'm cool with that. It's a drama and dramas need, um... drama*. I just hope, if in fact they're going to bump off Teresa, that they do something different with Dan and his grief instead of doing the easy thing and simply regressing him to the guy he was when The Lying Game started.

    * - I need to spend some quality time with a thesaurus.

  6. LOL. You've got a great vocabulary! I too hope they don't just regress Dan and they use it to grow the characters.

From interview with Blair Redford (http://www.zimbio.com/TV+News/articles/zgPYB96Cepz/Lying+Game+Star+Blair+Redford+Talks+Emma+Sutton):

Part of the fun of The Lying Game is the unexpected twists, so I don't want you to reveal too much. But can you give fans a taste of what's coming up for Ethan in the rest of the season?
"I'm actually really excited about the stuff coming up for Ethan in the back half of the season. There's going to be some really challenging stuff that his brother [Dan] faces. And what really interests me is that most of what the audience has seen is Dan (Tyler Christopher) coming in to help out Ethan, and this time you get to see him have an opportunity to repay the favor and be there for Dan. And that's some really good stuff to watch — it's a really strong storyline that starts to develop over the next few episodes."

  7. Well, that little snippet gives me hope that they're taking this in an interesting direction. Thanks for the info.

  8. So does that mean Emma has to like what stay with Ethan or something ?
