The hit scripted drama will air the first half of its super-sized 24-episode season beginning Monday, June 3 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, the network announced Tuesday.
Although I am having VERY mixed feelings about the show now(due to the fact that they basically got rid of Erica because of the whims of sexist parts of fanbase, as well as because the whole thing with Jackson not being on the show and how will they explain that), I still can't wait for it.
I'm actually happy about there being no more Jackson. He was the least likable character I've seen in years. Absolutely nothing about him was redeemable.
While i agree with that, what does NOT sit well with me is that his departure happened right after the showrunners CHOSE to keep him in the show(the finale had two outcomes filmed - in one he died in other he survived).
That kind of event can SERIOUSLY mess up one's plans.
My problem with Jackson was that, for some reason...my guess has always been too few episodes in the season...was that they kept dropping hints as to there being something about him to redeem but they never did anything other than show us the bad guy. They never let the character grow. So, I don't think it's going to be as big a loss as it could have been to lose the character.
From what I've heard, Gage Golightley CHOSE to leave and audition for pilot season, and has ended up as a lead elsewhere. Although personally I don't think the show she's now involved in (the name of which I can't remember right now) will last long at all.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteI hope all my fears are unfounded.
