Lol?? O.o
ReplyDeleteSeriously? Are they going into a video game? lol Taxi Driver? Hmmmm
ReplyDeleteWow I thought it would be cool if one of them got pulled into say a computer game since they use the computer for research and there is a Sioux Indian god that the lore says invented the internet and telephones.
ReplyDeleteAre you talking to me? There's no one else here, you must be talking to me.
ReplyDeleteI think the 'Pac-Man Fever' might have something to do with the Vampire Benny.
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering if "Pac-Man Fever" is the next Charlie episode. Computers and gamers? Sounds like her kind of thing. Plus, I'm thinking it will be around Robbie Thomason turn to write an episode and he has written all of her episodes.
ReplyDeleteNow that I think of it, I think you're right. I thought a heard a little while back that he would write two episodes before the season ends. Episode 17 and episode 20. Episode 20 "Pac-Man Fever" sounds relevant to Charlie, so I'm pretty certain Robbie is going to write that one. I do wish that the writers would create their own unique titles once in a while though instead of ripping them off of movies and what not. But so far, I've been pretty impressed with the writing this year, including Robbie Thompson, I'd say he's one of the best new writers that Supernatural has brought.
ReplyDeleteI wonder why he's writing two episodes? Maybe because Carver didn't write one during the midseason. Eric and Sera normally wrote three episodes or more a season. I think season three is the only season Eric only wrote two episodes while he was showrunner. Still, it seems odd that Robbie would be writing two episodes so close together.
ReplyDeleteI agree about the writers relying too much on cutesy titles based on movies, games, and stuff. I didn't mind the classic rock titles, but that was mainly because they didn't try to turn it into something that's a play on the title and those episodes were really good.
Beats me. As I said, I'm not entirely certain that Robbie is writing two episodes before the season ends, and he has already written two already. But, I'm like 90 percent sure he is writing both episode 17 and 20.
ReplyDeleteThe titles in general have nothing to do with the overall enjoyment of the episode, so it doesn't really bother me too much as long as they're good. And I don't mind some of the titles that they have thrown at us recently, but it's going kind of overboard when most of the episodes this season are being replicated from another source, to say the very least.
Oh my. These are definitely interesting. Generally titles give me a hint of what's to come but with these I have no clue.
ReplyDeleteThat's a good theory, especially since we know she isn't in before 19 at the very earliest and I highly doubt they will have Charlie bringing them a case in 22 or 23. Plus Peter is right. Robbie Thompson is writing 8.20.
ReplyDeletePersonally I think Robbie Thompson is writing more episodes because his (with the major exception of Bitten) seem to be well-received by the fandom. He's definitely the biggest new plus in the writers' room and quite frankly the only current writer I want to stay. All the others can go on their merry way to me. It is surprising that Jeremy Carver didn't write the midseason finale but my guess is that he will write the season finale.
ReplyDeleteI loved the Pac-Man Fever ^^
ReplyDeleteHehehehehe Classic :D
