Episode 8.20 we will see character called Jennifer. She works in the morgue as a coroner and appears to be timid and gentle but who as it turns out is anything but.

    Isn't 20 traditionally the big emo episode that sets up the finale?
    Going only by the snippets and descriptions so far, this year is worse than S7 for ignoring the main arc. It's like the cry to repopulate the SPN universe resulted in them touting every new character they bring in, instead of paying attention to plot. I just hope she's connected to the Word arc.

    This better not be another stand-alone. Jeez. It doesn't make sense to have so little myth-arc. The first half wasn't too bad, but this second half is getting lengthy.

    I don't think this snippet lets out much information so I believe there's more to this than meets the eye.We don't need to worry about this episode being a filler without having the synopsis released yet.

    Exactly my thoughts. I remember last year when they release the snippet about Out with the Old about ''george who's selling house'' or whatever it was and everyone freaked out. At the end, even if it wasn't the best episode, it wasn't 100% a standalone since he was a Leviathan. If I remember correctly, I think the first info we got about kevin was just that he was a teenager who was going to appear in the last episodes of the season and it was the panic again that the final episodes were going to be none-arc related.


    Episode 20 could be anything, related to the mytharc or not, could be good or not, jennifer could be an important character....or not, a bad person or not...We don't know anything

    You have pretty much summarized this season :P Yea story episodes feel so...well lackluster and ''eventless'' that leave you wanting more and more. (It's a trick from the producers to keep us addicted to the series!)

    I like this theory. Or, Jennnifer is possibly another Kitsune, the one who took in Amy's son, Jacob; I think Jacob in another FTF meeting with Sam and Dean could up the angst level in the episode. Or alternatively, Jennifer is Amy's human friend, who's is fiercely adoptive mommy bear protective of Jacob. Missing "body parts" is probably the case that Charlie calls the Winchesters to investigate.

    anything but..well she is a coroner, give me impression that she may have a taste quite literally. When I think about it more its sounds intriguing in a dark way, what if she's a trial thing?. It also may be more then just a stand-alone episode because its so close to the season finale,
    I'll just have to keep on pondering for a while.

    Those filler episodes were classic. They feel like they had more quality to them in Season 1 and 2. Not all the time, but most.

    Good theory about her eating dead people, and I think this theory of yours can strongly imply that the coroner is none other than a leviathan. I also assume Charlie will make her return in "Pac-Man Fever" as Robbie Thompson is writing for this episode, and since Charlie has a track record with leviathans it makes sense that she would bring a case to the Winchesters.
