    yeah I am worried about that too...but I think he is able to rip the hellhound apart instead.the blood is too black and looks like goo :S

    That was actually my first guess as well when seeing both the brothers wearing glasses. Reminded me of that god-awful movie "Thir13ten Ghosts", which in that case, the victims needed to wear glasses to be able to see the spirits. Trivia - John DeSantis actually plays one of the ghosts in that movie.

    my guess is Dean will save him just in time, they are trying to show Dean as the best hunter ever and Sam as the incompetant hunter but awesome researcher after all.
