Super Clyde - Casting News - Rupert Grint cast

Harry Potter's Rupert Grint has landed the leading role on CBS' comedy pilot Super Clyde, TVGuide.com has learned.

Grint will play the titular character, a meek and unassuming fast food worker who decides to become a superhero. Clyde has no actual super powers and is described as an obsessive comic book reader. But when Clyde gets an unexpected windfall of $100,000 a month from his dead eccentric uncle, he decides to use the money for good.

    Wow I never expected him to star in an American comedy, this definitely warrents at least a pilot watch and if it's good I'll continue watching.

    Interesting... sounds like a small screen version of "Kick Ass", but I like Rupert, so I'll give it a look see
