  3. Sorry. Show has lost all appeal for me. Getting rid of Jill Flint was THE dumbest move ever. And nothing the writers say will ever change that. Until Jill returns I won't be back.

  4. Oh, shut up, you dried-up hag! You still watch the damn show because you comment on it all the time on IMDb.

  5. I respect your opinion, but I disagree regarding the removal of Jill Flint's character. The writers honestly did not make her character interesting. I liked her in the pilot but then afterwards, and I bet it was the ex-husband Charlie storyline in season 1, she didn't really have a place in the show. I admired her friendship with Divya and the early chemistry she shared with Hank, but the writing of her character just didn't work. Royal Pains is really about Hank and not really about her.

  6. Well if it's about Hank then I guess we don't need Boris then either? How can you say that Jill had no place in the show? She and Hank could have stayed together. Why can Evan the moron get a wife but Hank can't keep a girlfriend for more then 4 minutes?

  7. She's really a supporting character as like other characters on the show like Boris, Evan, Paige, etc and she works better with Hank as friends only. As for Hank, the writer's still developing his character and he's not ready for a girlfriend. Perhaps in the next season they will develop his character more. The show really is about Hank Lawson, the rest of characters support him. Plus, I don't know why they wrote off Jill on the show. It is not unheard of that an actor/actress prefers to venture out into other acting projects. She probably felt her character was creatively done on the show. Most of the story lines (B lines, C lines, etc) didn't really appeal to me which involved her. I think at most I liked her character in the pilot episode and the clinic storyline which made her more respectable viewing wise. After that, they sort of watered down her character and Hank looked awkward with Jill in most scenes. Hank has more chemistry with Divya than Jill.
