POLL : What did you think of Suits - War?

  1. Oh my word, what an intense season... They stepped it up big time this year, and Suits has easily become one of the best shows on tv... This episode was spectacular...so many (depressing, rueful, and unfortunate) situations coming into fruition. But I have to say this, Jessica Pearson is the queen of her domain and Gina Torres continues to amaze. Mike finally had a moment to shine at the very end along with Rachel, (in what was an exceptionally steamy fileroom scene, wow!) and Harvey's misguided attitude has been adjusted, and he took it humbly as he should. The guy Edward from Game of Thrones didn't even have to raise a finger because Harvey had started down a path he'd never forgive himself for...he was never a cheater before the last couple of jabs from Hardman or Zane, so I feel like he needed a wake up call and this was it. I just hate that he can't have his place with Scottie (is that how you spell her name?) as equal partners...they're both going to likely have to work their way back up the hill... Much better than the season 1 finale! (ugh trevor pls)

  2. Am i the only person a little conflicted with the final two eps of this season? There are times when I was like 'who are these people'? And not in the good, wow that was amazing, way. I don't know. The first half was great. The second half (up until the file room scene which was...whoa.) felt a little like they were jamming another three episodes worth of stuff into 35 mins...I liked it, but I didn't love it. Am I alone here?

  3. Well, I have kind've disliked what Harvey and Mike have been doing the whole second half of the season...and the main plot of the show (Mike's lack of a degree) has always annoyed me, I feel as though I wish it could be the same exact show WITHOUT that one thing, because it feels almost like it invalidates everything Mike does, even though he does good work. Meanwhile, Watching the fall and then redemption of Louis, and Rachel's Harvard storyline (She's become an absolute favorite) was my preferred part. As for Jessica, she is put in pragmatic positions where she asserts her power a lot more than she had to before. I think if it weren't for the amazing Gina Torres, her character would be too overwrought and not likable--but thankfully the case is that she is just the right amount of "queen bee" to put Harvey back on the right track.

But yeah, the characters have just made a lot of choices that are not good and seem to make me like most of them a bit less... or even a lot less at times. I hope they carefully step back over the line to the right side next season...because we need to keep our characters doing right lol

  4. I liked the episode, especially most of the character moments (Mike and Rachel, Mike and Harvey, Jessica and Harvey and, especially, Donna and Harvey), but the plot of the episode itself was a bit meh. I could not understand the legal issue at stake and they could have tried to make it more clear. Maybe it was just me, but I couldn't understand the case itself, which was a bit annoying. I also thought the Louis plot was really annoying and had no point being there. But it was still very good, although I prefered last week's, by far

  5. I agree about Jessica. I think Gina Torres saves the character. Were it not for her, we would probably have troubles liking the character

  6. I´m getting a litte tired of Harvey being after Mike. I wish they would drop that story line.
My favorite is Donna, she is just brilliant in every episode and Louis was awesome in the last couple of episodes too.
All in all it was a great season end.

  7. I hope Scottie won't stay, she definitely is a "pity-party". No fun. On other side Donna and Louis were great this season, can't wait to see more of them. Also wondering when Donna's gonna break with thing for Harvey, probably a subject for the long way...

Not alone! The characters were all over the place. Felt very odd to me.
