Another awesome ep. Really loved seeing the "process of recruiting" of old Division being used to rescue Sean. Really didn't expect the twist that the analyst was a mole, but loved the fight between she and Niki and Niki making off with her shoes....lol a really satisfying ep that firmly brings Sean into the fold...
Awesome episode! Great to see a Sean focused ep which leads me to believe he won't be disappearing again any time soon. I'm also curious about the butterfly tattoo! Though I'm guessing it's because she used to catch butterflies with her parents so she got it in their memory. The whole Amanda thing is getting old... can they just get rid of her already? Liked Amanda Schull in this episode, she always plays someone a bit crazy (Pretty Little Liars, One Tree Hill, Nikita)... and died in two of those shows! I'm glad there are 10 ep left of this season (wish it was more!), really hoping for that renewal!
It was an amazing episode! Finally Alex is getting back the screentime she deserves, it was getting annoying not seeing her. I loved the "Alex! How nice it is to hear your voice" the first Amanda/Alex interaction this season and it was AWESOME!I miss the interaction between the two because it was always hilarious and awesome! It really sounded like Amanda's planning something to hurt both Alex and Nikita which is good because I miss S1 Nalex.Loved Alex caring for Sean, it was sweet.
Totally off topic but how has Nikita only aired 5 more episodes than TCD? This annoys me so much, especially since it started in the fall. There best not be any more breaks from now until end of season. /rantover. I knew that Sara/Katie(One Tree Hill) was going to turn out to be a baddie. She knew waaaaay too much. I laughed so much when Nikita stole her shoes! Just another day in the office huh lol
I loved this episode. I've always assumed Alex's butterfly tattoo was relevant in not only her memory of catching butterflies with her parents, but also having a second chance at life (something Nikita gave her). I love that Sean is now even more in the fold, but I couldn't help but feel bad for the poor guy (his sisters think he's dead). I totally had a fan boy moment when Amanda and Alex had a scene together, albeit it was over the phone and relatively short, but still, it seemed like she had a plan for Alex when she heard her voice. I miss those two. I couldn't help but chuckle when mid-fight Nikita said she liked the analyst's shoes, killed her, and then took her shoes…lol. I'm excited for the next episode as things should heat up from here. BTW, is it me, or was that the first time i've actually seen Alex hug somebody else first..other than Nikita.
Alex was hugging Thom (~1x05), Irina (~1x15), her mom (~2x12, 2x17), Semak ("fake hug" during press conference at 2x15), Sean (~3x06 now 3x11) so it ain't just Nikita, though Nikita does get the most hugs, btw- did she hug Nathan? I can't recall... I honestly didn't care for that relationship :S
ANYWAY, god yes, I loved the Amanda/Alex moment! Amanda seemed happy/pleased hearing from Alex, sounds like she even tried to manipulate her over the phone lol she probably has a plan for her which I'm excited to see unfold.
And yeah, I really loved this episode and Nikita loving and taking those shoes lol
In the top 3 episodes of the season for sure. Amanda's presence always ratchets the excitement up several notches, and I'm really thrilled she'll be in almost every episode from now on. Her intricate plan and ability to predict everything Nikita would do was brilliant.
Oic, what you mean. What I meant was that it looked like she was really giving Sean her heart, and not some type of friendly hug or gesture. It looked like for the first time, to me, that it she was opening herself up to Sean. It think her relationship with Sean runs a lot deeper than it did with Thom or Nathan. Yah, haha i've actually completely forgot about Nathan, he didn't really stick with me.
Yes! I'm going through Amanda/Alex withdrawal, and finally we got a short scene of them. It did look like she was nudging hints hints at Alex, over the phone. I LOVE their mind games.
It was excellent! I think it was probably my favorite episode of the season! The thing I love the most about Nikita ever since season 2 is the whole "family" feeling they have going on with the group and it was the focus of this episode, so it really did it for me. I and I have always liked Sean quite a lot, he is quite the moral conscience around, and I loved having an episode focused on him. Looking forward to see how he adapts. And Amanda is such an awesome villain, I hope they don't kill her off at the end of the season! Also, the way Nikita killed Naomi has got to have been one of her most cool killings so far! 5 stars, really!
I agree with this 100%. I also miss seeing more of Alex. Back in season 1, she used to have almost as much, if not more in some eps, screen time as Nikita.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Dudes, it was beyond awesome. And it's not an exaggeration.

ReplyDeleteAmanda Schull is also on Suits where she's a little evil.

ReplyDeleteBest ep of the series for me, loved it, on edge of seat for most of it...

ReplyDeleteThey actually surprised me with that, I did not see it coming
