Okay, there is no way that Ted killed Derek. Don't buy that one. Also Emma sleeping with Thayer so quickly was a bit shocking to me. Alec seducing Kristin is odd.
I'm watching Thayer and Emma talk...started getting bored and signed "I do NOT like Thayer." and Emma undoes her tie. Gag. :-)
Loved the episode otherwise. :-) LOLed when they kidnapped Sutton in the limo...laughed harder when she got away. The look on Rebecca's face when she read Sutton's text was deadly. Cemented my feeling that that woman cares naught about her daughters. Sutton's useful at the moment and that's about it.
I'm not buying that anyone would need to pay Derek off with 20,000 dollars. He's not the brightest bulb and he has low expectations. I think he'd A) never figure out anything useful or have any idea what to do with it, B) could be bought off by with a much much lower amount (like a bag of weed), and C) I'm not entirely sure the Mom wouldn't have taken some of the cash out before she turned it over to the cops. The blackmail idea would have made more sense (and given you pause before going duh Ted would never be part of that even by accident) coming from a sneakier dude like suddenly disappeared Justin with a different cause of death. I do like bringing Ted back into things.
I'm not a Thayer fan, and I kinda thought Emma was breaking up with him and then all of a sudden she's sleeping with him. It was kinda weird and I didn't really follow the motivation. He can't say he was sorry to his dad for trying to send him to prison? Really? I'd be a bit more regretful, sorry, embarrassed ..I don't know...but angry and petulant don't fit. I laughed so hard when he got beat up by Sutton. So incompetent. And "I'd never leave you" two days after he ditched her to go to LA and then tried to put her on a bus when she came to see him.
I love Rebecca/Sutton angst. And here's to hoping Laurel stays awesome. She was a nice bright stop this episode.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteI get that Ted was blackmailed but I think at the end Rebecca killed Derek.

I think you're totally right about Ted. No way he killed Derek. My money's still on Rebecca.
