  1. The way Laurel treats her father and Tommy makes her a huge hypocrite. Tommy deserves better.

  2. Tommy does, although I'm not so sure about her father. That was a nasty trick he pulled.

I missed Felicity. But I was glad Diggle figuratively smacked Oliver for his blindness.

  3. Det. Lance was pretty cold using his daughter as bait, but Laurel constantly inserting herself into cases she has no business being involved in and being all buddy-buddy with a murdering vigilante makes Quentin's actions more sympathetic to me.

Besides, don't break the law and you won't find yourself surrounded by a dozen armed cops. Its as simple as that.

  4. Finally a character name I recognized. :-) Except that my closed captioning says "Steve Wilson" instead of "Slade Wilson."

I really enjoyed the episode. Only two things kicked me in the brain... loved Laurel's fight scene but why didn't she go for her gun? And in the rescue sequence, the way it was edited was great but I kept trying to figure out why the bad guy seemed unaware of the gunfire and explosions outside. :-D He kept saying he couldn't take the compound on his own but I never saw Det. Lance do anything until after they got inside.

Was glad Laurel didn't let her Dad off the hook for setting her up. I liked, every Det. Lance scene tonight. It was great to see him get some story. I also like the way they've handled the sway of public opinion from vigilante scum to hero.

Yay Digg. I had to work a bit to believe he got out of that utility closet without Momma Queen knowing he was following her. I think the last three or four eps have been getting better and better fo rme. Awesome

  6. When Oliver is first grabbed in the plane, my first thought was... Crixus!! Hope he doesn't get naked on this show though.

  7. Nice episode. I am happy that the show has gotten a lot better since the break. This really feels like a superhero action show now.

  10. Manu Bennett killed it as Slade Wilson! Just the sheer physical size and facial intensity, it's perfection. The island scenes continue to be my favorite, so interesting and so much going on, wish they could be a little longer.
Moira and Diggle scenes were just the bees knees to me, Moira with her smugness and Diggle actually appearing to be the bungling one but so smooth with the cigarettes, even though in the previous 12 episodes I've never seen smoking, maybe he does it off screen? Ollie, gets the 'Oh Honey' award of the night trying so desperately to believe the words coming out of his mother's mouth. I got Thea blocked but maybe that's for the best until she has puts her bratty attitude to rest permanently. But I really do look forward to Ollie and Thea having their sibling moments. Poor, Tommy, everyone around him lies to him and keeps him in the dark. But what a way to end an episode. Very comic book ending and I LOVED it! Laurel you have been outed as the hypocrite you are, finally! Arrow, whatever you are doing, keep it up!

  11. I totally geeked out with all the guest-stars in this episode.

Kate Freelander! (Sanctuary) Dr. Whale! (Once Upon A Time) Crixus! (Spartacus) I even recognised the villain's girlfriend, she was the crossroads demon Dean made a deal with! (Supernatural)

I know, I know, I watch too much sci-fi and fantasy...

  12. That's why the villian's g/f looked so familiar!! Thank you!!

  13. The episode was epic. If "Freaking awesome" was available in the poll, I've chosen that ! It feels good to have an excellent episode. But if I may say, Laurel & Felicity (Katie Cassidy - Emily Bett Rickards) NEED TO GO !!!!!!!!!!!!! Please Katie is ruining the show by her insipid acting...I mean the CW could've chosen someone else : a new actress (and a good one please !) The girl played in THREE different CW' shows. It's time that the channel STOPS recycling their actors/actresses.
    And Tommy : useless !
