  1. The ending credits - now and forever. No episode felt as long as this one except maybe Bitten, especially in the rewatch.

  2. I don't normally not like an episode (I even enjoyed bitten and heartache) but I was not a fan of this one. I feel horrible but I voted for the ending credits. I really couldn't find a scene I liked. So sad considering how good and progressive the last few episodes have been

  3. This episode was a major backslide from the recent ones. Here's hoping this is toss away episode in all ways, including the brother relationship, and we are back on track for the next one.

  4. There was nothing I liked about this episode. I would have preferred 40 minutes of Sam and Dean sitting on the roof of the Impala drinking beer and watching the stars.
It all just seemed thrown together without any thought and I'm talking about the brother scenes here because the guest star couple and their story-line was just so..."not good"!
    Went with the ending credits.

  5. Ha! So true. To continue, possible story ideas that would have been preferable to this episode:

    1. Brothers research for 42 minutes in the Factory of Answers while occasionally enjoying a good burger and expositing what cool stuff they have found.
    2. Brothers fix up the Factory of Answers adding their own personal touches throughout. They of course give us a tour of the whole place as the episode progresses.
    3. The brothers reminisce about all the wonderful things they have accomplished together while adding their own adventures to the Factory of Answers' files (i.e. the SPN version of a clip episode)
    4. Brothers drive from one end of the country to the other, heading for a case. They alternately take turns listening to good classic rock and actually talking to each other about little things and NOT fighting.
    5. The brothers watch while their new paint dries on the wall (Hey, at least there would be no hint of bestiality, sadomasochism, or brother fighting. That automatically makes it better than this episode.)

  6. :) These are definitely terrific ideas and would make for some great episodes.:()

I especially like the last one; watching paint dry seems a a great idea at the moment and wouldn't ruin the show's budget either so maybe we could add in the rock music too, as we all wait with baited breath for the paint to dry.

I quite fancy them using a sunny yellow for the colour-tone..)

  7. There were some things I didn't like, but it's nowhere near the worst episode they've ever done. We can leave that to Sera. I liked when Dean got himself into a problem with what he was saying and no way out and looked at Sam and "I could use some help here." Sam just let him stew. Dean's face was worth it.

  8. I am sure that the episode of the next week will be very good i love the
episodes based on the mythology of the gods and supernatural will raise

  9. My fav was Portia's arrival and the brothers reaction to her. I stop at the exposition part.

  10. You guys are nuts this episode was awesome it wasn't the best episode out of the season but it was still an awesome episode every episode is.

I voted for when Portia turned up. I was struggling to choose between the end scene and the flashbacks. When I saw what the boys did it reminded me of what all the other seasons were about, and then to talk about at the end scene and also when Dean comforted Sam was really nice until right at the end.
I like this episode, it was something lighthearted before we see the showdown.

  12. I loved the scene where dog turns into woman and Sam explaining why there was a dog on the bed. This to me was classic SPN. The look on Dean's face and the yeah, she can stay.

  13. I had to choose other because my favourite part of the episode was when Dean was having those awkward conversations with Portia. They were so funny.

  14. LOL. You guys are funny.

  15. I have to agree. I liked when Sam let the dog in and then the switchover when he was trying to explain to Dean. If that had been as far as they went down the bestiality well, I would have been okay. Plus, I <3 dobermans.

  16. I did not see any bestiality, the sex was with a woman, not an animal.

  17. I chose the first scene when Sam meets the dog until Dean arrives. That was a good start and kinda went downhill from there.

Watching the boys watch their paint dry WOULD have been more interesting, and please, no sex scenes when one is not a Winchester!

  18. This may not have been the worst episode ever, but after the recent run of really great episodes, it sure felt like it. I'm still trying to figure out why I should even care what happened to James & Portia.

  19. Pffft... I think "Cas sends Sam and Dean back to meet the 3 Stooges so they can settle the debate once and for all" would have been great. Though they would have to mention Garth for some reason. Because there is no reason for it. "Don't hate"

  20. I liked when Sam was sitting on the bed and explaining to Dean why Dean could only trust himself.
