This week, I'm flipping the order of posts and putting the poll before the recap. If you have any doubts as to what your favorite scene is, no one will hold it against you if you decide to wait until later tonight when I post my review ;D.
And if you were curious as to why last week's recap was posted a week late and the poll was ignored all together, it was my birthday weekend so I was a little distracted. Not that you all care, onto the poll!
Personally I really loved the Marcus/Andre scene at the police station. Where Marcus slightly accused his brother of framing him and his brother punched him. And the police grabbed Andre but Marcus said "No, it's okay... it's my brother."
ReplyDeleteThat whole scene was just so authentic and gave light to a part of Detective Bell's life we'd never seen before. A part of his life that he wants to both defend and hide.
I really liked that scene too. It adds so much depth by saying so little. Unfortunately, I try to keep the poll options few in number so that it doesn't just become a list of everything that happened (that's what my recaps are for :D) but it does spark some interesting discussion.
ReplyDeleteI loved the scene with Sherlock revealing he knew Joan wasn't working for his father anymore and then offering her the job as his partner. I loved it so much that I thought it was one of the best scenes in the series thus far. This was a great episode overall; lots of character and story development. I had my doubts in the beginning, but this show is finally coming into its own.

ReplyDeleteThis episode really showed a different side of Sherlock we haven't seen before. It was genuine, honest and heartening. The fact that he admitted to Joan that he's a better person since she came to his life was truly beautiful. Yes, it was the best scene between these two and the best scene of the series so far. I now look forward to seeing more progress of their relationship this season, that moment was a real positive step in the right direction for Sherlock and Joan :)

ReplyDeleteThis was my favourite episode so far. Every scene with Sherlock and Watson are so great but the last made me laugh so hard! Loved it!
