Pilot News - Jason Isaacs cast in Surgeon General

Awake‘s Jason Isaacs has landed the title role in CBS’ Surgeon General drama pilot, TVLine has learned.

The project, which will revolve around “America’s doctor,” is being written and produced by Lie to Me creator Samuel Baum.

    CBS and medical dramas are recently a bad fit, but I hope Isaacs can carry the show to renewal...

    Or at least it's cancelled early enough for him to still be cast in Season 4 of Game of Thrones! XD
