Thanks to The Spoiler Fairy for sending us the following..
For Once Upon a Time episode 2.21, the role of Heidi is being cast. She's 13, British, and also described as being compassionate, mischievous, and somewhat naive about how dangerous the world can be.
Well, he was black and got a line, OF COURSE he was going to be killed off. But I'm referring to the casting notice that wanted someone with and English accent.
I want to come up with ideas for this new character but when I hear Heidi the first and only thing that comes to my mind is the girl with the little white goat.
I remember. I'm guessing the producers had the same thought I did and figured if they're going to bump him off quick like the victim at the beginning of a Law & Order episode, why bother with the details?
They don't necessarily seem to care too much about accents in the end because even though all these characters supposedly come from the same place they obviously all have different accents. I'm guessing this is just a general outline that with later be completely changed. Plus they normally try to draw attention away from what they are actually doing with the characters.
Might be, but I believe they'll have to make drastic changes in Peter Pan's story. Think about it: Wendy lived in our world and went to Neverland. And she came back to our world. I'm not sure how they'll deal with that because it involves world traveling, which is one of the show's main themes. Again: if Wendy did it, why didn't Rumple?
That's just tv-speak for "We'll bring him back later as a surprise guest if everything works out but he could be dead. We don't really care at this point."
I don't really know why Cora would leave a loose end like that running around though. Considering she killed a whole village of people just to make Hook's story look halfway believable.
The characteristics compassionate, mischievous, and somewhat naive about the dangers of the world are also perfectly in line for that Heidi.. I just don't see how it should fit :p
For Tamara's character, they wanted an African-American with a British accent. So with my Tamara = Wendy theory still intact, I believe it will show how Nealfire and Tamara met, when he was in Neverland...
I'm not sure Lancelot is dead, we mostly saw Cora using the disguise of a living person. Lancelot could be held prisoner somewhere, maybe in another realm, and they could return him if they want to.
That depends on her magic, she might need him to be alive to appear in his image. I think we could see him again if they return to the enchanted forest.
What you think there will be a brown wendy lol it is an inside thing but i will try to explain when i was in 3rd grade we put on the play peter pan and i am bi racial and the teacher drew the part from a hat and i got the part of wendy and several of the kids said a brown wendy not in a nice way really but kinda shocked i guess but to this day i remember being the brown wendy and its a very fond memory i do not really like the disney version i like the musical much more but you all seem to forget the wendy got OLD maybe moira but not wendy i think it would be cool if the girl in the wheelchair in heidi would be in storybrook or Annie since that is my story my name is Annie i have the curly afro, orphaned in a foster home when i was a baby and i love to sing lol anyways i think it might be tiana i really thought tigerlily at first but i learned the actress is african not indian though she looks indian. tiana did not like magic really the heidi one could be something though could she be Annie but the peter pan thing goes back to moira not wendy.

British like how Lancelot was British?
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling it´s gonna be Wendy from Peter Pan...
ReplyDeleteLike it mattered. Lancelot was OUAT's version of a red shirt. They brought him on to kill him off.
ReplyDeleteWell, he was black and got a line, OF COURSE he was going to be killed off. But I'm referring to the casting notice that wanted someone with and English accent.
ReplyDeleteI want to come up with ideas for this new character but when I hear Heidi the first and only thing that comes to my mind is the girl with the little white goat.
ReplyDeleteI don't think accents really matter to this show. I mean, Belle, a character of French origin, has an Australian accent.
ReplyDeleteI remember. I'm guessing the producers had the same thought I did and figured if they're going to bump him off quick like the victim at the beginning of a Law & Order episode, why bother with the details?
ReplyDeleteTrue, but Heidi is Swiss so British makes no sense for that Heidi....
ReplyDeleteYou're right,I know.I'm just stuck on that now and can't come up with anything else.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't tell anything about what they are planning for the finale. Wouldn't mind a few hints now.

ReplyDeleteHe's not dead. They said we shouldn't take Cora at her word about killing Lancelot.
ReplyDeleteMight be, but I believe they'll have to make drastic changes in Peter Pan's story. Think about it: Wendy lived in our world and went to Neverland. And she came back to our world. Either Jane from Mary Poppins, Alice from...well, you know, or (as P.S. Shawn suggested) Wendy from Peter Pan.
ReplyDeleteThey should bring back Maleficent. THat would be AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteI want to see young Regina...
ReplyDeleteTamar's casting call says she's British, but the actress is American. I'll be interested to see if she uses an accent in the show.
ReplyDeleteIf this little girl is African British, then that might confirm my guess that Tamara was Wendy and brought Neal back from Neverland with her.
Indeed. All good points.
ReplyDeleteThe characteristics compassionate, mischievous, and somewhat naive about the dangers of the world are also perfectly in line for that Heidi.. I just don't see how it should fit :p
ReplyDeleteBecause reasons! ;)
ReplyDeleteAre we getting Little Mermaid's story this season? It seems so unlikely :(
ReplyDeleteIt probably can't fit.But I'm picturing a little girl walking around Storybrook followed by a little white goat and it's the cutest thing ever! ; )
ReplyDeleteIt's rumored that she'll be in the next season.
ReplyDeleteFor Tamara's character, they wanted an African-American with a British accent. So with my Tamara = Wendy theory still intact, I believe it will show how Nealfire and Tamara met, when he was in Neverland...
ReplyDeleteI kinda wish they would stop with the kids.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure Lancelot is dead, we mostly saw Cora using the disguise of a living person. Lancelot could be held prisoner somewhere, maybe in another realm, and they could return him if they want to.
ReplyDeleteThe possibility exists that he's alive but I find it to be unlikely. I think "stormqueen" laid out a good case for that in her post above.
ReplyDeleteThat depends on her magic, she might need him to be alive to appear in his image. I think we could see him again if they return to the enchanted forest.
ReplyDeleteooh i hope that's Wendy :}
ReplyDeleteI agree. A big flashing neon sign that said Wendy went off in my head, the desription seems to fit her pretty good I think.
ReplyDeleteOh, Jane and Alice are good suggestions! I went straight to Wendy, but it could be for either of them you mentioned.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think the fact that she has to be British is very telling. They must be trying to cast some Disney character who's traditionally British.
ReplyDeleteMaybe a bogus name for Wendy?
ReplyDeleteIt might be a long shot, but I'm calling it RIGHT. NOW. This is a Young Marry Poppins. lol That would be hilarious and awesome.
ReplyDeleteWendy?
