Exactly kind of a bummer there :( I wish they had approached that different, I didn't follow spoilers much when I started to watch the show, and even I figured out Neal = Bae (look at the names for one) within no time flat.
Yeah ... spoilers or no spoilers, this isn't exactly a tough call. What is interesting is the thought of Gold inheriting a family by way of Neal/Bae. Henry's his grandson, Emma's the mother of his grandson/his son's whatever-she-is-to-him-going-forward, Snow and Charming are his fellow grandparents - and Regina is the adoptive mother of his grandson. For a guy who manipulated all these people for his own purpose at one time or another, I'm guessing "family man" is going to be a hard role for Rumple to fill. So yeah, I think the reveal is pretty obvious, but I think that the resulting story possibilities (especially now that the show's two original villains have Henry in common, which should be all sorts of fun) should definitely be worth it.
People who read spoilers. My friend who watches the show and doesn't read spoilers/theories has no idea who Bae could be. Also she has no idea Neal is coming back.
But what if Neal isn't Bae? What if real Bae moved out and Neal took his apartment and he was running because he owes someone money and he thought that these were the people. Nah, it is Bae. I am dancing my dance of joy.
Can't figure out why the marketing people are pretending any regular viewer hasn't already figured out that Neal is Bae. It's been common knowledge since the opening scenes of this season. :-) I hope that's not the bombshell they're referring to. I'm really hoping that Michael Raymond-James and Jennifer Morrison can muster up some on screen chemistry. That lacking element was one of several reasons I had problems with Tallahassee and it's made me hesitant about watching this ep.
I hope so. I dunno, it would be just too convenient and easy, it would wrap everything up too nicely. It just feel too obvious, I hope it's a red herring.
But in episode "Tallahassee" Pinoccio asked him "Do you belive in magic?" and Neal answered him "I belive that you belive". Sorry but it means something. And that mysterious box that August showed him? Sorry, my english can be bad.
So, it SEEMS Neal is really Bae. I don't like this much!! HOW BORING and ODD. So Henry is Gold's grandchild, Emma his daughter in law (practically) and also the daughter of David and Snow, who's former Stepma is the adoptive mother for Henry...I guess by the series finale they are all moving into a big, big house and live happily ever after (except for Regina, who will suffer for eternity at the writers hands...)....
has anyone else realized that this is probably going to be the reason regina doesn't end up killing rumple? Henry's grandfather and all...why else would both finding his son and regina/cora/hook finding the dagger happen in the same episode
Emma's reading the name of Rumple's son, and it's not Neal Cassidy, if it were she would be surprise right away. It's not Neal, but maybe August knows about Bae, and got him out of town, and Neal on his apartment, so he could fullfill his promise to Neal to return him to Emma's side. Or maybe we are going for a compleete loop and the guy on the HOOD (see what I did here?) is August!
I don't think Neal is Bae. I think we'll be led to think he is...but I believe he's actually an impostor. Why? I have no evidence for this theory, sorry. But I believe that Bae is somebody else who's trying to manipulate events in our world for some sinister purpose, and I believe that he's going to be the major villain in Season 3. He'll be like a Charles Widmore for Once Upon A Time.
Anyway, aside from that - what about the creepy girl? Could she be a younger version of the Blind Witch from the premiere - the one everybody thought was going to be from the Hansel and Gretel story but apparently wasn't? And who the heck is that witch supposed to be, anyway?
Depends which side of the fence Regina and Rumple are playing on. If she's trying to good, and Rumple is trying to good, then Henry will want to champion both of them and have them get along, because that's how he does with family. Assuming that'll be the case at some point in the series, we could get some very interesting Regina-Rumple team up moments, especially if something becomes a direct threat to Henry.
here a spoiler about Manhattan- Is there anything you can tell us about Mr. Gold's reunion with his son? — ; The details of how this reunion takes place were actually foretold long ago, as a flashback will reveal — and that's not a good thing, at least for one series regular. Suffice it to say, do not miss the final 30 seconds of Sunday's episode.
lmaoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo what are you talking about she did not read any name
from what i heard Mr. Gold’s journey to find his son definitely is not going to go smoothly, Mr. Gold’s reunion with his son is going to be a big confrontation and its going to be a bad one and one of the flash back will revile how bad its going to be
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Neal
ReplyDeleteNext week will be epic! Can't wait for that confrontation!!!
ReplyDeleteYup, Neal is Bae.
ReplyDeleteOMG Neal is sooooo Gold's sun EPIC
ReplyDeleteand he's his son too :D haha
ReplyDelete"Could be the biggest bombshell yet." Could be but won't be. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteThe biggest bombshell yet....that almost everyone saw coming!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for Emma's reaction that Neal is Bae and their whole reunion. Very exciting promo!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait! I know most think it was too predictable, but I love it anyway, what can I say :D
ReplyDeleteEmma's reaction....... PRICELESS xD!
ReplyDeleteWell not for us who read/look up spoilers but for the regular watchers it may be.
ReplyDeleteExactly kind of a bummer there :( I wish they had approached that different, I didn't follow spoilers much when I started to watch the show, and even I figured out Neal = Bae (look at the names for one) within no time flat.

ReplyDeleteI'm not an Emma/Neal shipper but if nothing else, Rumple/Gold being Henry's grandfather means that he won't let Cora take Henry.
ReplyDeleteI knew it!!! I can't wait to see this episode
ReplyDeletei was hoping this episode would be the reveal, i seriously cannot wait!!! Probably one of the most anticipated episodes of the season by far.
ReplyDeletePeople who read spoilers. My friend who watches the show and doesn't read spoilers/theories has no idea who Bae could be. Also she has no idea Neal is coming back.
ReplyDeleteMore like "the biggest 'hey, viewers, you were right' reveal yet".
ReplyDeleteBut what if Neal isn't Bae? What if real Bae moved out and Neal took his apartment and he was running because he owes someone money and he thought that these were the people.
ReplyDeleteNah, it is Bae. I am dancing my dance of joy.

ReplyDeleteIt would be fun if that were the case. :-)

ReplyDeleteYEY!!! Even though I knew it would be Neal I still got chills LOL can't wait for the episode!!.
ReplyDeleteHe also won't let Regina have her son, so the show has successfully achieved that Rumple pretty much screws Regina over completely.
ReplyDeleteYeh yeah, bae, bae, neal, neal, but who are those creepy women without eyes?
ReplyDeleteSo, it SEEMS Neal is really Bae. I don't like this much!! HOW BORING and ODD. ReplyDeleteI knew it that Neal was Bae!!! But, who the hell is the lady with no eyes?
ReplyDeleteLack of chemistry? I disagree. Hook/Emma on the other hand were incredible forced in that episode.
ReplyDeleteNo, you're not the only one. I think the same thing, that Neal is not Bae, just connects to him somehow
ReplyDeletehas anyone else realized that this is probably going to be the reason regina doesn't end up killing rumple? Henry's grandfather and all...why else would both finding his son and regina/cora/hook finding the dagger happen in the same episode
ReplyDeleteThat's the Seer. She had a casting a little while ago. I think she was the one who told Rumple what time period to come and find Bae.
ReplyDeleteyeah, but that has always been speculation and not spoilers :)
ReplyDeleteEmma's reading the name of Rumple's son, and it's not Neal Cassidy, if it were she would be surprise right away. NEAL IS BAE!! Wahoo! Not shocking in the least though. This ep is gonna be awesome!
