P.S. This is not about least favorite character, you could choose to kill one of your favorites for story-line reasons.

    This is poll done in incredible bad taste. Even if a fan of one should would really want to vote for a character that is not of the rival ship, they will feel compelled to do so because of the childish shippers spite voting.

    Seems like the Dyson "haters" are winning at the moment. I had to go with Hale. I adore Lauren and actually like Dyson, even during season 2. Tamsin redeemed herself during episode 6 and Trick... well It's Trick. You can't hate on Trick. Even if his secrets hurt those around him sometimes.

    No, it's a big chunk of hate-baiting with an agenda. If Lauren tops the poll it can be exploited as a "told you so" (This is also true for Dyson fans to be honest). However, what is worse for Doccubus fans is that if we were to vote to protect Lauren we get labelled as man-hating lesbians and take a faceful of bigotry. So no, it is not just a poll, it is a stitch-up.

    Everyone if you really care about this show (and seriously frak teams) Just dont vote at all. This is our chance to let the producers know we dont care about teams etc. We care about this show all together, which is about love and understanding in the first place and not about wishing ill on someone else.
    And spoiler tv you should be ashamed for encouraging hate on your website. Thought better of you, sorry I was wrong...

    Why people would think of kill off one of the main crew if they are doing a great job? I see any of them is important almost equally to Bo and the show. I don't hate DyBo if the story is convincing, so as Doccubus!! Why we have to be push to spread any hateful and can't just enjoy what they bring to us?! Sick of that!

    I voted Tamsin. I quite like the character but any permanent extension to the triangle makes me weary. Losing Dyson or Lauren would be a bold move and dare I say it, somewhat risky for the show. Miss Hale and I don't like him all sombre and responsible, need some of the fun back and Tamsin snark doesn't have the fun of Kenzi/Hale.

    I wouldn't. I'd still enjoy the show. Lots of shows have killed off major characters in the past and the shows have still been just as successful. LOST, Grey's Anatomy etc

    But I agree with most comments here - this poll is about spreading hate amongs Lauren and Dyson fans. Not good. I am 100% team Lauren but I would never vote for Dyson to be killed. That's just low.
    If it was REALLY necessary let one character go, I would probably go for Tamsin, even though I like her. But I am not voting.

    NONE there is not a big enough cast to be killing any cast members off. this is a show that doesn't have 20 cast members its a very small cast so i think they are all way to important to kill any off the poll sucks.

    Ok so don't shoot me and I realise I'll get a lot of down votes but I really don't understand why people like Lauren. Is it just because there's finally a prominent lesbian character on a tv show? Or do people genuinely find her interesting? I just think she's unbearably bland. I've had to stop watching the show a few times cause they give so much screen time to a character with absolutely no depth or strength. I think it's a wasted opportunity. I know a bunch of you will probably go crazy but I was just genuinely intrigued as to whether it's solely because of her sexuality or if you enjoyed her regardless

    No!! Not Kenzi. Kenzi's the best, poor thing I can't believe she's gotten any votes. Unfortunately, I think at this point Hale is the most expendable--I not entirely sure he's going to make it through the season tbh. I wish it were different. I really miss the Dyson/Hale buddy cop repartee. The show is in a serious "male" deficit right now.

    Has nothing to do with Sexuality. Zoie Palmer is an amazing actress love all her work and always have, she is the reason i even started to watch this show, i had no clue who anyone else in the show was, but when i found out she was on it i started watching back in 2010, and the chemistry between her and Bo is just amazing and beautiful.

    There are few lesbian characters in other TV show, yet I don't find them interesting, so there must be more to Lauren then just her sexual orientation. I do find her not only sexy and beautiful, but multilayered: smart, brave, funny in her nerdy way, loving, loyal and sometimes vulnerable and insecure...you can see the turmoil under her calm face - she is such a fighter, even though she doesn't use weapons or violence. For me she is stronger then most of the fae and humans around her. IMO courage is not ignoring danger and hoping all ends well, but going forward despite knowing what terrible things can / will happen to you and deal with the consequences.

    I am also a big Zoie Palmer fan and if you would see any of her previous work you would find out how talented she is and you would find out she is funny as heck...maybe the reason you find her boring is because she is playing a science buff and most people find science buffs boring i myself love her character and it has nothing to do with her sexuality in the show.

    Well, everyone can have their opinion & preference, GenGens. ;-) While many people like Kenzi because she's funny, honestly Kenzi in s1 kinda irritated me (but not anymore now). Same thing happens to Lauren & other characters - some people like them and find them interesting but some others dislike them, it's a natural thing in a series I guess.

    I know, obviously people have differing opinions, I just wanted to know if all the hype around Lauren was due to her sexuality or if people did think she was enjoyable to watch. Personally I find her character exceedingly dull and that's why I wanted to know if people were looking past this because they were happy that the show featured a lesbian character so prominently or if their opinion really did just differ so greatly from my own. Obviously you three feel the second is true for you

    They could always bump Bo off and make Tamsin the main character, she's obviously got loads of past and angst and she wouldn't have to hump everything in sight, might make the writers a bit more inventive with their plotting. I could see her with either Dyson or Lauren, it would release Dyson from his one true love and make him single again and Lauren has a history of her new girlfriend bumping off her old one. :) Just don't kill Lauren because the geek is my favourite.

    Well being in the medical field i get her i guess you could say, so i don't find her boring at all, i actually find her work to be exciting when she is able to science up the mistery of the fae world and Bo, Actually looking forward to seeing what she comes up with for Bo and the Dawning she is going through now.

    It's not her work that I find boring, neither is it any of the plot points she is involved in, it's the character herself. For me, she's achingly one-note and plain for such a vibrant show. Obviously you love her and I respect that but I really wish the show had gone in a different direction with this character.

    I love all about her in the show, how she is with Bo and everyone, and if you notice she has more scenes this season and has now moved as one of the front runners in the show in the credits because she has a good portion of the fans in her corner that love her, I get what your saying so i guess as you said we will just have to agree to disagree on this one, i love all about her and i love all the characters in the show, even that i am a Doccubus fan i still love Dyson, i find them all to be important in the show, and all great would not want to see any of them go or killed off.

    I love everyone on this show , Lost Girl fandom is/deserves better than this. No need for "teams" and definitely no need for hate, especially on a show full of love, passion and friendship. Just vote for none of them fandom. Let them know we are over these teams and ship wars. We just want to keep watching this beautiful show, no need for animosity!

    I voted Lauren because I don't really like her character and the actress playing her.... This has nothing to do with ships or homophobia (because I really don't like Bo/Dyson either even If I love Dyson). For me it's even annoying to feel that way about Lauren because I ship a lot of f/f couples (and they'll never be canon.....) and for once I watch a TV show that is open to everything, allows the lead character to be bi without making a big fuss about it and have a f/f lead couple and big disappointment : I don't like a part of this couple....

    Personally i am torn love all the characters but from a storyline basis even though i prefer Bo/Lauren over Bo/Dyson and love Lauren i still choose Lauren:
    her death would have the greatest effect on Bo and could lead to the most changes in Bo's character perhaps a major anger/revenge arc for Bo and ZP could continue to be a part of the show in hallucinations/flashbacks

    I think the two major fandoms are on it for each other, because they know Tamsin will only be an evident distraction. On a brighter note, Doccubus Army recruitments to vote for the refusal is undergoing. ;)

    I hate the kill off this character to make a big impact on the main character stories. There's at least one show I stopped watching this year because to get a short-term payoff they sacrificed any long-term emotional justice. So sometimes I think the lines are there for you to color in because otherwise it is just a scrawly mess instead of a nice picture. Not to say there aren't some Jackson Pollock's out there.


    Personally, I think the show has bigger problems than Tamsin and who's sniffing around Bo.

    You got that right. ;) Most of us are Doccubus fans, but a lot are also Dyson fans. We're trying not to worsen the animosity between the people. I mean, the EOnline poll had brought out A LOT of that already. We're currently spreading the poll and the preferred option of voting for the "refuse to kill of any of them" option. :)

    Maybe but methinks it would rather dent the enthusiasm of part of the fanbase. I would prefer Lauren had a glorious/tragic ending to two minutes (every three episodes) exposition in the lab when Bo moves on but it's historic with TV shows once you're gone, you're gone and the only time it would effect Bo would be when such flashback episodes occurred.

    because without her, the show wouldn't really be able to explore the difference between fae and human as well. I mean Kenzi's human but kind of honorary, Bo would never mistreat her or allow her to be mistreated for long. Lauren is a pretty good way to deal with some really interesting stuff in terms of how the fae think of humans in their "care", and the way those humans have to deal with that.

    I also like Bo much more when she's around, and both actresses have been handling some pretty complex stuff pretty impressively this season, the conversation about Bo having to go to other people to feed was intense.

    She's kind of the emotional heart of the show's darker stuff IMHO. I love the show, but a lot of the others can be a little 2D, characters and actors; she's a little more layered and interesting.

    What if Trick dies and Bo gets to inherit his place? With all her assignments, you'd think she'd get a better place worthy of the job-for-hire she's getting. If Trick dies, at least that should boost Hale as the next know-it-all.

    they can't kill Lauren, but sooner or later she has to admit that having a relationship with a Succubus is more emotionally heart-wrenching than having a relationship with a human. Oh...now that Hale's the Ash, has she been released from her promise of servitude?

    We had always referred to Doccubus shippers as the Doccubus Army, ever since the EOnline poll. There's nothing wrong with naming the Doccubus shippers' collective as the Doccubus Army. We had just prided ourselves for beating out a major couple (Glee's Brittana) in the EOnline poll, and it was then we reflected the team work of an army. A global army. Doccubus Army doesn't have to imply segregation - but I guess that's subjective. Coming from me who has a fair amount of Team Dyson acquaintances, it's just a collective name and, admittedly, I'm proud of it. Nothing more. I guess, judging from your comment, you might have viewed it as some form of marginalisation to the other fandom. Words are naturally interpreted in many ways. Evidently enough.

    All this poll shows is fervency of Dyson/Lauren fans and a fifty percent Doccubus boycott on the subject. Take them two out of it and Tamsin and Hale are front runners for the death card which is pretty much what is going to happen in Season 3.

    I went with kill nobody. All the characters contribute to the show. The few episodes where they have let Dyson let loose, he's been a blast. I would kill the brooding and have them decide that werewolves don't mate for life. I think Tamsin is a great addition to the cast and has added a lot to the show.

    I refuse to kill off anyone. It's not nice. I'm a Doccubus shipper. I see no threat to my ship because Lauren is awesome, and Bo is a very lucky women. But I like Dyson. Just not with Bo. He was cute with Ciara. So sad she died she was awesome. Love the vote Doccubus Army. I like Tamsin too. I don't want her dead. This poll is illogical. That is all.

    Um that would just perpetuate the problem of most f/f pairings on tv, and incite major rage. As most tv shows representing a lesbian relationship kill of one partner and have the other go crazy. Really bad idea.

    I am sorry but i am against killing any off i love them all, Lauren, Dyson, Bo, Kenzi, Trick, Hale, and Tamsin, They are all a important part of the show for me. and i am with killing none off, its really not like its this big cast in the show.

    What exactly is the point of creating a poll that promotes hate on characters? Not liking a character does NOT mean wanting him/her killed off a show. This is excessive and completely immature. At least now there is the added option of I refuse to kill any of them. Still, a pointless poll at that.

    I'm a total Dyson/Kenzi shipper and if feel like it would be a good story line if Hale or Bo died ( i know that bo is the main character but...) because i feel that i would bring them together. Maybe my hopes are too high?.

    I voted for "I refuse to kill anyone". If the poll were to read, "whose death would have the most effect on Bo", then it would definitely be Kenzi. But, I really don't want to see the word "death" anywhere near Kenzi! If the poll were to ask "Who do you think it's going to die?", then it would be Tamsin. Unfortunate but that's how I'm reading things. The way the poll was first designed seemed like it was there to start a shipper war. I'm glad that a number of fellow Bo/Lauren fans are not taking the bait. Everyone has a part to play in the Lost Girl Universe and I really don't want to see any of the characters dead.

    I think Lauren/Dyson are also leading because they are polar opposite characters. Most people watch enough TV to know that removing one love obstacle is just going to bring in another one.

    I think that may be a business decision. KC Collins is also recurring on Saving Hope and being upped to a regular on Lost Girl may have contractually preventing him from recurring elsewhere. Just guessing.

    It's possible (Holden-Reid has had a recurring role on other shows though and Palmer has guested). But had he been a regular on Lost Girl would he have gone looking for the recurring spot on Saving Hope? He's barely on Saving Hope and it's not like it's a good role for him.

    That's a valid question. Contract status can be a complicated thing and can differ from show to show and person to person. I'm nowhere near knowledgeable enough to consider all the variables that could come into play with something like this.

    I voted for Tamsin because so far she's taken the best lines from Kenzi, screentime from Hale, and Bo's been isolated from the rest of the gang just so she can have a point. The only character her presence seems to have benefited is Dyson, but otherwise she's a drag.

    I couldn't choose any of the characters. Not Kenzi, because she's freaking awesome, which makes me not wanna kill Hale cause it'll break her heart. I wouldn't kill Trick cause....he's TRICK. Neither would I kill Dyson or Lauren because I feel they are a big part of the story, but just because I ship Valkubus, I wouldn't want either of them dead. Then, finally, I wouldn't want Tamsin dead because she's, like, my favorite character, other than Kenzi.
