Lost Girl - Episode 3.05 - Faes Wide Shut - SpoilerTV teases

10 Feb 2013

Poor, put-upon Kenzi admits to feeling kind of left-out in the face of her bestie's relationship bliss. She urges Bo to take on a human case, where visitors to a sexy 'key club' end up breaking down into something you keep in a bucket. It's a Sisters-from-another-Mister return-to-form!

...except nobody seems quite themselves. Kenzi's jealousy reveals a mean streak; both Lauren and Dyson's professionalism clash with their personal lives -- and Trick sheds light on another unexpected chapter from his past.

And Bo? Is it possible her humanity is dissolving faster than her clients??

  1. And the de-Kenzi-fication of Kenzi continues. Remember when she was just the best part of the show? And Bo and Kenzi had this fantastic relationship where they'd do anything for each other and still tell it like it is? And Kenzi would come in and save the day by being smart and awesome and feisty?

You know over the hiatus, I was worried that they were going to make the same mistake they made last year and force characters to not be themselves so Bo could be more independent of her ensemble cast that she needs to head a show she can't handle on her own. But I thought, no Andras understands Kenzi better than any other character, she will keep it on track. Boy was I wrong.

I love Kenzi storyline this season. Its about time Ksenia Solo got some meaty stuff to work with and this so far is awesome. Her reactions to Dyson and Lauren have always been key moments to her character and its awesome that show is exploring it more, especially considering Kenzi's condition. Hopefully the writers do not take up too much and work within their capabilities and this will be awesome.

overall VERY thrilled for this episode - this season so far has been the BEST season of the entire show(and the addition of Tamsin is awesome, as she, within the very first episode appearance of her became one of my favorite characters). This episode sounds awesome and can't wait for it.

  3. Isbloom, I have never heard you say one positive thing about this show.
The Kenzi dialogue this year continues to be as witty and quote worthy as
ever -- and we're only one fourth of the way through the year. But please, continue with your smug, sweeping statements. Did you
even bother to watch episode 303 ConFaegion? One of the best Kenzi
episodes ever. Also, creating conflict between the characters,
particularly in third season is called Drama. Story. Character. Look
them up. Though you are right about one thing: no one understands Kenzi
better than EA. And I'll follow her take on the character wherever it
leads. Can't wait to see this one...the arc is really ramping up.

Just to add to what Lilac said - Kenzi's different reactions to Dyson and Lauren have been there since S1. Her over-possessiveness of Bo also was there since S1.

They did not change anything about Kenzi they just brought her to the forefront.

  5. I don't think its really Kenzi. She got Faejacked in the last ep. I think she was replaced with a Kenzi look alike. #KenziImposter

  6. Looking forward to this, I really like seeing the core three women working together and I really want to know what Kenzi's deal is so we can have the girls back together.

Season 3 has been such a huge, huge improvement on S2. It's got cohesion and an edge, and everybody in the ensemble has a job to do that makes sense. It's funny, Lost Girl is the only show I look forward to week on week right now, I wouldn't have expected that from where it was a year ago.

  7. It's hardly my fault that season 3 and the back nine of season 2 are terrible. I certainly didn't write it.

  8. If that's who you think Kenzi is, then you are a happier viewer than I. I love Kenzi and I think she's the best. This crap isn't Kenzi. And making her not Kenzi and not having her interact as the primary sidekick with Bo has severely hurt the show in my opinion.
