    Probably, I wish they would have done someone else not some pop star. I still think Rihanna was dumb to forgive someone for beating her up, yet going back to him only means more media attention and money.

    let's just say that it's more complicated than that. The psychology of battered women is more complex than you can imagine. For us it's easy to say " once a beater, always a beater, leave him" but for them it's not that simple.

    Yeah but in Rihanna's case, she went back with him b/c being with him would give her more media attention. Pop stars thrive on media attention plus the fact that being with him again would give them both more money.. They both get paid to be together..
    I don't think she even considers herself a battered woman or even cares about what happened. I feel sorry for women who are victims of abuse, just not Rhianna..
    Pop stars will do anything for media attention and money,that's why she went back to him. It's pathetic, everytime they are seen together it equals more money..

    forgive is different of forget. She decided to come back w/ that stupid guy, so, if something happens again, she couldnt complain bc she knows he is not stable. anyways, she didnt depend on his money (cases i see everyday) so why did she decide to live again with a guy who is capable of hitting a woman? her choice, she cant complain if it happens again. thats my oppinion. =)

    I see your point and it's not about money, abused woman are often brain washed and dependant on many levels and abusers tend to be very charming and manipulative and talented to blame the victims and make them feel worthless. I don't think it's the case here though, she looks plenty independent I guess she just loves him and is willing to forgive him, let's wait and see if it happens again and I'm sure it will.

    Please, she doesn't love him. She only forgave him so that they can be together for more media attention and money. No pop star is independent, they thrive on constant media attention and will do anything for it; even go as far as getting back together with someone they shouldn't.
    Rhiannia was manipulated or brainwashed, she's not smart either but she's a pop star. Like all the annoying pop stars and reality show stars they will do anything for media attention. They crave it, I still don't see her as a victim..

    So being with someone who's hated by so many people(including professional) is good for her career and her image? That's a stretch I know publicity is always good even if it's bad publicity but still, forgiving that moron reflects bad on her and shows that she has no brain or judgment and she's been criticized for it, not sure it's a good career move.

    Rihannia could care less about her image or her career. She isn't one bit intelligent nor has proper judgement. All they care about is having the media focused on them, and they will do and say anything for more media attention and money. It's sad but true.

    I don't see how dating him helps her make more money if it reflects poorly on her...I really don't see how something that's bad for your image and your career and make people think you're an idiot can make you make more money. Does it help her album sales?
