Andrew Marlowe was asked about that in one of the interviews just before "Target" aired. He said, "embarrassingly," no, they wouldn't have Meredith in the episode, but that he assumes that phone-call happened off-screen. The fact remains, they just don't have time in 45 minutes to show us every detail, and this episode was already packed and VERY emotionally charged without that. Bringing in Meredith and all the issues re: her very odd take on motherhood, would have taken focus away from the real heart of the episode: how Castle responds when the single most important person in his life is taken away.
(Besides which Darby Stanchfield (Meredith) is apparently pretty busy on "Scandal" right now - but that's neither here nor there!)
it's a quote from 5x15 in a humorous moment between Caskett, it could mean extremely clever and complex logic... an indirect compliment, but meant as a compliment usually...
hopefully Beckett understands his pain and accepts the fact that he went to Paris alone to get her. That would be sweet if she hopped on a plane to go have his back but I don't see it happening. He needs space to figure things out and when he gets her back, they will probably embrace at the end and put it all behind them.
LOL...I was thinking...couldn't they have talked to the tech guys at Once Upon A Time? They're not perfect but they get much much closer to looking seemless than this shot did.
Oh! Maybe it's not finished with post production yet and it'll look better by broadcast time?
'Fiendish Logic' is kind of a joking way to refer to the, sometimes, convolute logic that writers (of both books and movies) give their villains to explain why they enact their master plan.
GREAT SNEAK PEEK...!!!!! UNDOUBTEDLY, WE ALL TRAVELED TO PARIS, TO SAVE ALEXI'S WITH CASTLE... !!!!
..Has anyone noticed that nobody has mentioned Alexi's mother .. ??? Although the mother is a "carefree" I find somehow strange that Castle would not let her know that Alexi's was kidnapped....!!!!!!
Thanks 4 the update. I asume that the actress Darby Stanchfield, that play (Meredith) is very busy with "SCANDAL", but even will all of this @ least a mention of what is taking place. Is well know that the show is about 42min (unfortunately) 2 many commercials.
This will not take away the emotional stress for the upcoming "HUNT". let #savealexis
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
That is a brilliant sneak peek! :D Why can't it be Monday!?!?

Stop applying your fiendish logic.
ReplyDeleteI thought so too. Hopefully that's not the final cut. Perhaps some post production work to be done.
