Strickland will play Bird's mom, Stella Killpriest, a beautiful loose cannon with an epic attachment disorder. Raised in a family descended from an ancient line of killers and mercenaries, Stella is tired of being controlled and decides to raise an army of her own that will make her capable of standing toe-to-toe with her own father Leo (Jonathan Banks). Unfortunately, Stella is destined to be killed by Bird.

ReplyDeleteThis series already has Peter Berg running it, with Jonathan Banks and Skyler Samuels already cast. That means I was on board already. With Strickland joining, this pilot moved close to the top of the "must see" list for me. I'm already hoping it makes it to a series order.

ReplyDeleteapparently original but according to deadline, the show reflects writer "Graziano’s love of pulp, graphic novels and ancient mythology, is a contemporary pulp action thriller in the vein of Kill Bill".
