Britt Robertson has been cast in CBS' Under the Dome, a drama based on Stephen King's 2009 novel, TVGuide.com has learned.
The serialized drama, which will be produced by Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment, is about a small New England town that becomes sealed off from the world by an oversized transparent dome. The show will follow the citizens' survival as they try to learn more about the dome and how to get rid of it.

An incredibly attractive woman...still bitter about Secret Circle.
ReplyDeleteNot a promising casting start IMO....
ReplyDeleteAlthough she was the only main cast member of TSC that could act in any way.
Maybe on a series with decent writing she will hold her own?
Interesting choice! Can't wait to find out who else has been cast.
ReplyDeleteAnd here I was yesterday thinking, now that Phoebe Tonkin has a new gig, who would the next TSC alumni to get a new show be.
ReplyDeleteI know I'm part of minority, but I really liked TSC and I loved Under the Dome, so hopefully the writers will do a good work and CBS will actually give this a chance, unless it's a miniseries... crossing my fingers for this to be a miniseries instead of running with the same fate as Last Resort.
Best news all week! I love Britt and I still miss TSC, so I can't wait for this!
ReplyDeleteIDK about Under the Dome, but TSC aren't exactly a minority, a lot of people still miss the show :)!
ReplyDeleteAgreed!
ReplyDeletei actually think i will give this show a try. it helps that it is in the summer also because i dont have much to watch there, so i am more prone to give new shows a try
