Murder in Manhattan is an hour-long dramedy set in New York City that sees a mother and daughter team up as amateur sleuths. Maria Maggenti will write.
In Reckless, when a man's wife is unjustly imprisoned during a political uprising overseas, he desperately pursues every legal option to secure her release. But when he's stymied by the U.S. government in the name of diplomacy, he is forced to consider less-than-legal options. Chris Black will write while Martin Campbell will executive-produce.

Murder in Manhattan is either a leftover 80's detective show idea or it's a Lifetime series pilot in disguise.
ReplyDelete"Murder in Manhattan" sounds like something that should be on the CW and maybe be like Gilmore Girls meets Veronica Mars (which I would so watch tbh).
ReplyDeleteI'm a little intrigued by Reckless... depends on casting and more plot details but there's a couple of ways it could go that would be good and different to what's on TV lately.
ReplyDeleteI'd say Murder in Manhatten will last 6 episodes or less before its cancelled
ReplyDeleteNeither sounds particularly interesting to me.
