    This may be the smartest move the CW has done in years (after getting rid of Dawn Ostroff of course). The post-Vampire Diaries slot has been a problem for the CW. If a VD spin-off can't make it in that slot then they know for sure that they need to move VD back an hour and premiere a new show before it instead of after. Including Tonkin is also inspired because the CW is still getting flak for cancelling Secret Circle last year. While I have no intention of watching this since I don't watch VD, I hope it does well for them. They need hits desperately and the more they have, the more likely the shows I do watch on the CW will continue. No hope for any CW show if the network itself folds.

    this is really stupid.. why would she work with the network after they screwed her. and really another vampire show come up with something new and original for gods sake. god i hate this network.

    I wonder how Phoebe Tonkin will be included in this? Unless Klaus turns her into a hybrid, I'm not sure how her character's inclusion will make any sense

    I'm wondering why "Hayley" will be on a show about the originals. Hayley and Klaus hardly interacted. However I really think they were working together once Klaus killed all those hybrids.
