Burbank, CA (January 2, 2013) - Sutton decides she wants her life back in order to spend more time with Ethan, and Laurel asks Jordan out on a very awkward date in a brand new episode of "The Lying Game," airing on January 22 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on ABC Family.

In the episode, "Advantage Sutton," Rebecca advises Sutton to reclaim her life, leading Sutton to challenge Emma to a tennis match - winner gets to live as Sutton Mercer. Ethan is in danger of failing out of school, so Emma offers to tutor him, breaking plans with Thayer in the process. Laurel decides to ask out Jordan, but ends up bringing Mads along on their date. The series cast includes Alexandra Chando, Andy Buckley, Allie Gonino, Alice Greczyn, Blair Redford, Charisma Carpenter, and Helen Slater, with guest star Adrian Pasdar. 1. Oops, I misread that as "Who gets to live" instead of seeing "as Sutton" at the end of it and was extremely confused for a second there. Wouldn't surprise me if Sutton tried to kill Emma, though, tbh.

And yes please on Emma/Ethan. Love those two together!

  2. I think I'm more pleased about Laurel and Mads spending time together, even if the situation is a little awkward. I've been wanting to see Laurel become more incorporated into Emma's group of friends for a while now.

  3. what happened to the guy Laurel was in a band with? I hate when people just disappear on abc family shows. I liked them together.

  4. I don't know what's more of an eye-roll - that Emma and Sutton are deciding their identities with a tennis match or that this is the third or fourth time that Sutton has tried to become Sutton again.

  5. I actually find it really interesting Bruce that Sutton's family obviously prefers Emma, and Sutton basically does everything wrong.

  6. Considering how Sutton acted toward the family when she was living at home, it's not a stretch to believe that they would prefer Sutton 2.0. Who wouldn't?
