    The 80s aren't well-rendered: the jeans are too low-waisted, the perms look good (god they looked awful in real life), and what about the music? It's like a costume kids show that doesn't really try to be accurate. So what's left is a Jane-by-design redo, perhaps with more money thrown at it and with a big name, but otherwise I fail to see the interest.
