Supernatural - Song-to-Scene - 2B - Poll

9 Jan 2013

For the most part, yesterday's polls went as expected. Renegade (82%), Bad Moon Rising (76%), and Knockin' on Heaven's Door (82%) all had big wins. The big exception...All Out of Love vs. Silent Lucidity. In the last few hours they were running neck and neck, hitting a tie with only a few minutes to go. In the end, Silent Lucidity eked ahead by two votes (51%) making it the closest poll of the contest so far. Looking at today's choices, we might have much of the same with these. It's Impala vs. Impala and a fan favorite song vs a fan favorite scene. While I have no trouble at all picking my choices, two polls could go either way today depending on how people interpret the contest. Voting should be intriguing. So without further ado, happy voting!

  2. Choices are two easy and two hard for me today

Back In Black gets my vote..
Although there are many great song to scene moments I would be quite happy if an Impala song won.

She really deserves it. She has been knocked around as much as the boys have, has 'died' and been 'resurrected' more than once and she has always been loyal and unchanging. :)

Here it's a heart against logic decision, alas!

I love the Smoke On The Water scene but I have to go with song to scene fitness here, for the Impala was certainly "Born To Be Wild" :)

"Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas " gets it. How could it be otherwise, although "Heat of The Moment" is an unforgettable scene.!

    X

"Don't Fear The Reaper. " It's so idoneous to the scene.

  3. 1) The Toughies begin. I like both of these. I'm going to go with the underdog
    ....here and pick.... Crossroads Blues

    2) I just can't vote in this one. I love the scene attached to Smoke on the Water. But
....song to scene it just ain't great. As for Born to Be Wild...looking at this stand alone,
....out of context of the episode, it just doesn't have the punch...and as a song to
    ....scene...eh.

    3) It's a shame Heat of the Moment came up against
....Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas cause the latter, in terms of
....connectivity and impact, works better for me.

    4) This one is easy. These Boots Were Made for Walking...in terms of song to scene
....just doesn't make any sense. Don't Fear the Reaper

  4. Back in Black, Baby's song

Born to be Wild, Baby's song part two. This was a very silly scene as nothing would have kept her from going all the way thru the sign, but I loved it. That stop was so cool looking.

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, awesome song for a great ep and every time I hear this song now I tear up, which is awkward when in a store. lol

These Boots Are Made for Walking, which is what Cas is going to do to Crowley

  5. re: Crossroad Blues ... but the juxtaposition of the song lyrics and the actual scene is beautiful, though. (FWIW, I voted for "Back in Black" in this section.)
