    I think it's not really Rachel in itself which is annoying (though I wont miss this character at all), it's the story-line they build around her and Mike. Nothing ruins a show as thoroughly as a badly written romance.

    It was old from the very first moment...when I saw the pilot I already knew what would happen next, every single step on the way, from Rachel getting closer to Mike, to her finding out about his cheating and being agry with him, to them making up, to Mike getting together with Jenny but eventually loosing the relationship because of Rachel, to the impossibility of them being together because of Mike's secret...the whole thing was so predictable. I was praying that they would do the unexpected and stick to Jenny or at least ship Rachel off as soon as possible. But no. Instead they got worse with every step.
