We're starting a new weekly poll for Arrow fans, asking what your favorite scene of the episode was. Since this is a new feature, please let me know if you have any suggestions in the comments below. Also, I ask for feedback on Twitter about which scenes to include after the episode airs so if you have a Twitter account, please let me know what you would like to see.

  1. Det. Lance's tracking of The Hood through Laurel is a bit cold and harsh, just like what the tech guy said.

  2. I think I liked the Diggle tells Oliver to take care of his fear part. I like the relationship between them a lot.

  3. Agreed. I wasn't buying the complete turnaround he gave Laurel but I was really surprised that he was using her relationship with the Hood to capture him.

  4. Generally for me it's going to be a heavy action scene, since that's what I watch this show for. However this week I am torn between Diggle's "get over it" speech and Thea's. They said what Oliver and Moira needed to here and ended the emoangsting, which gives them bonus points.

  5. Diggle is my favorite character. I like how he cuts through the heart of the issue and genuinely cares about Oliver's mental state as much as fighting the city's crime.

  6. Exactly. I was just thinking that Lance Snr was just being nice to get on Laurel's good books again, I didn't see him use his daughter as bait, I thought he was too protective for that.

  7. As an aside, why don't they just have a newspaper label him The Green Arrow or something and be done with it. It's not like you're avoiding a layer of cheesecake with "the hood".

  8. Very good question. I don't know anything about the comic books but even I know him as the Green Arrow. It would be smart just to make it canon on the show.

  9. It seems like his quest to bring down Oliver has superseded everything else. I think he still suspects Oliver and that this is partly revenge for his other daughter's death. I just don't see him getting this wrapped up in a random vigilante without there being some major personal issues at the foundation.

  10. I was wondering the same thing. They had that discussion around the table when Oliver rejected the name so why not go on and use it? My first thought was that perhaps it was a legal wrangling issue (like Smallville) they use a drawing of Green Arrow from the comic book the DC logo...so...I've got no good suggestions.

  11. I had to go with Digg's second pep talk. I love Digg and this ep left me feeling that he's becoming a friend more than a sidekick. But I put this ep at top of their list....one of the best.

  12. They are teasing it out - as Oliver develops his own persona. So he starts as the Hood - as a vigilante it sounds a lot like hood-lum. Then he becomes the Archer - but to distinguish himself from the Dark Archer, he becomes Arrow and eventually Green Arrow as he grows to see himself as a protector and hero - and as the world generally comes to see him as that too. Wait for it - it's part of the story!

  13. Exactly. I think when he thinks of The Hood, he wants it to be Oliver's face.

  14. This makes no sense to me. Most people when they get a name that's the name that stays. Hence why so many adults have stupid nicknames - they got them when they were younger. I've never heard of someone's name changing to reflect their personal growth or the how people perceive them.

  15. Digg is now my favorite character. I like that he is often the moral center of the show. Now that Walter is gone, he's the only character I haven't wanted to smack at some point or another. No wait, I really like IT lady too. I missed her in this episode.

  16. It's a comic convention for one thing - so if you don't read comics that would be one reason it didn't make sense to you. In the last episode before the hiatus, they were discussing that the "Hood" needed a better name. But I know many people in "real" life who have had different nicknames over the course of their lives.

  17. for me, it was oliver admitting to diggle and himself that he was affraid of what would happen to his loved ones if something would happen to him again.
