NICE episode writers! i'm wondering who is going to be the head of the 3rd team with the suicide guy... i missed tyler and caroline but i loved the stefan/rebecca scenes a lot they're great together ;)
Ripping the heart out. A classic. Loved it. I bet Stefan enjoyed breaking his brothers neck. And bleeding him almost dry and locking him away. "Care for a drink?" "He's underage" LOL "You risk awaking someone dangerous" Ah, Kol my love, maybe that is a matter you should discuss with your brother Klaus. So, why is he taking it out on Jeremy and Damon? Why is no one taking it on the person really responsible for everything: Klaus? Oh, right. Cause JP cares for him more than the entire show. Kol got a good point. The reason Elijah is staying away is, that he IS disgusted by what this family has become. Elena suggesting Jeremy killing Kol? Good plan. Problem: they are freshly out of white oak stakes. Exactly Bonnie. You've got all that power. Too bad you're too stupid to use it to put Klaus in a coffin again and sank it on the deepest point on earth. Congratulations, Bonnie, you finally got it. Shane is crazy and the bad guy. And I guess, Bonnie lost control cause Shane pushed her into this form of magic. Can't someone just put a bullet into Shanes head? "Burn in hell"? I must say, I'm surprised. Shocked. I was so sure that Becca would go back to Klaus within 2 or 3 eps. Well, I still got two to go, so nothing is over jet. Oh, I hope JP is in hiding right now. Hooking Stefan up with Becca? Bad move. She thought people were pissed because of the sire bond between Elena and Damon? I can't wait to see what's coming for her now. I wonder, if Becca compelled Stefan. "Stop caring"
Brothers changed places. Usually, Stefan is the one locked up in the basement.. So we probably won´t see a lot of interaction between Elena and Damon because they won´t be able to kill Kol and the compulson will stay...
I absolutely positively times 1,000 want more Stefan and Rebekah... I love how she challenges him, and I think she makes him much more interesting. I'm also glad we can finally be secure in the fact that Shane is bad news. I mean, I know we knew that, but at least Bonnie knows it now, too.
It was a great episode. I just want some one to hurry up and kill Shane, I hope Bonnie will do it and stop being to damn naive. Over all it was a good episode. The Stefan/Rebekah scenes were good. It will be interesting if we will not get an more sadistic Stefan out of the heartbreak over Elena. The whole Elena telling Jeremy that he is going to kill Kol, well I can already see that going wrong in so many ways. I can see that when it comes down to it, they will ALL have to team up and more thank likely stop Shane and this Silas person.
Ha, you're right about Stefan enjoying what he got to do to Damon (as much as I love him)... I'm surprised he didn't break his neck a few more times for good measure.
Shane definitely needs to die... soon.. don't like the character or the actor. And I prefer Stefan/Caroline (I don't like Tyler much either) to Stefan/Rebekah though the latter do have good banter.
Klaus & Kol spoiling each others plans. I'm hoping the Stefan/Rebekah paring means Stefan gets more dimensions to his character. Actors always say heros are boring and I can totally understand Paul Welsey wanting to play evil Ripper Stefan. The problem for me there was that it was still pretty much a one dimensional character where as the fun of Damon is that his character has some depth. He's not perfect. I think it would be really fun to see Stefan gain some depth from hanging out with Rebekah. Here's hoping she really means it when she says she's not going return to the abuse cycle she and Klaus shared for thousand years.
Loved how Stefan helped Jeremy.
Bonnie....first bad sign...Shane has hypnotized her. She was right. Shane is not sane. His 'it's okay to kill (count's at 24 now) a bunch of people because Silas will bring them back' logic. Is proof. Even if he's right...that NEVER ends well. If her father's definition of help is to take or send her back to Shane then he, apparently, is an idiot too. I mean really? Should I feel better that Bonnie comes by her stupidity honestly? Nope. Can't do it.
So, I'm guessing Silas is gonna wake up in the finale (or close to it) Love that Jeremy got out of this ep while keeping his kill number low (can't remember right now if he or Damon killed the vamp that attacked Matt in the bar. Loved that Damon was so dead set on protecting Jeremy and Matt....and I don't believe it was *only* for Elena's sake or approval.
Absolutely support you on the Shane/Bonnie part. Why is everyone so thrilled by Stefan and Becca? Am I really the only one to see how weird that is? I like the "Kill Kol" idea. And of course it won't work (first, they don't have the stake, and second, Klaus would be pissed; pissing off the god and father of all psycho killers? Bad move!). But I like the idea. Actually, I really, really like the idea to kill all originals. I'm just sick of them.
Dimensions? Yes, guess you could say that. I always thought of Stefan as boring. But one dimensional puts it better. That is the reason I always liked Damon more. And why I liked ripper Stefan. And I thought that was cause I have a thing for psychos. But then I would worship Klaus as God of all psychos, wouldn't I? Yes, he could have hypnotized her. Probably that guy that killed himself too. Why won't they learn to listen to Damon? He never trusted Shane. But no one listens to him. And why isn't Bonnie putting her new power to a good use and using it to put the originals in coffins? Please, let him wake up long before the finale. If he wakes up in the final ep, it means, we have to deal with the originals in S5 to. I'm not sure I could handle that. I'm already counting the eps till the end of the season, when the originals (hopefully) disappear forever. Yes, I missed Caroline too. But on the other side, I rather see she's not on the ep than see her with Klaus
whats funny is i think all the characters deep down know kol is right. In some way i think they believe silus may have been real and may be buried with the cure but they r so blinded by the possibilities the cure has that they're like screw it cure first end of the world 2nd. Only kol is in the right mind not crazy and i agree with him im actually kinda rooting for him he's on his mission for the good. Stefan and Rebekah sounds good but i hope that elena and jeremy dont kill kol altho its more expected over rebekah or elijah or klaus dieing.
Shane definitely hypnotized Bonnie. That was the point of her, basically, repeating his words in the earlier scene... "you are in complete control" "I am in complete control"
I gave up on Bonnie putting the Originals in their coffins when she saved Klaus at the end of last season. Sadly, when she started getting the power to handle the Originals she turned off her brain.
I haven't had a problem with the Caroline/Klaus scenes so far because it's a chance for her to be smart and feisty. Smart Feisty Caroline is always fun to watch. If they become an actual couple then....I'm totally with you.
Shane probably also hypnotized the guy that killed himself in his office. Bonnie saved Klaus in the end of S3 cause his death would mean the death of her mother, Caroline and Tyler. I bet she didn't care about the brothers. You know she still hates Damon for everything. Probably also everything Klaus is doing. And I also asked at the end of S3, why she took Ty and none of the other hybrids. And why she didn't locked Ty up before she put Klaus soul in his body. Seriously, Bonnie. After all they've been thru to get that psycho in that coffin, she just releases him. And now everyone else is to blame for what he is doing, except Bonnie. Did I mention that I really really began to hat her?
"When she started getting the power to handle the Originals she turned off her brain" LOL But you're right. I wonder for weeks, why no one thought of using Bonnies new powers to lock Klaus up again. The answer: JP wants to keep him.
Turns off her brain. So true. Otherwise she would have wonder how comes he knows so much about the Five and she would have wonder what new magic he is teaching her. I mean, a guy you don't know teaches you a new kind of magic. Wouldn't you at least try to find out something about it the books (or the internet), before trusting him so blindly? Besides Damon never liked him, he always had a bad feeling about him. But no one listens to him.
If Klaus and Caroline become a couple it's probably (98%) the last ep I'll watch. How could she? After everything he did? I mentioned a amnesia behavior in MF. But that … Caroline with Klaus … She already lost almost all points in my book by simply talking to him and letting him sweet-talk her.
I do think Stefan is a more interesting character when he's being bad ass and not moping over Elena, and actually does bad/dangerous better than Damon does.
Never been a fan of Bonnie and her deal with Shane is not helping, but I LOVE Stefan and Caroline together. Caroline's dad is the Alpha Vampire in Supernatural. lol
Prpleight said he/she considers good Stefan as one dimensional character. And I agree. Bad Stefan or ripper Stefan just show more aspects of his personality.
"Does bad/dangerous better than Damon" Not so sure if I can agree. Damon may sometimes lose his temper, but he is mostly under control. Stefan? Give him a taste of human blood and he loses it again. Or did you mean it as performance? I could never choose. Cause they are both great. Have you noticed that most actors are just brilliant? Joseph, Nina, Ian, Paul. Love them all.
i am really digging the stephan/rebekah scenes. i really enjoy her as villain/mean girl. missed tyler and caroline on this one though, i enjoy them way more than jeremy and bonnie, so i prefere when they are the ones left out of the episodes. but it was a good one
What? A plan of Elena's go wrong? Pish Posh...that never happens. LOL! If (and that's a pretty huge if) he succeeds...I like the logic. If the magic works that way.
I laughed at how Elena was annoyed when she called Stefan for help and he didn't come running at her beck and call. She's done the same to both brothers and it is so not on. Although Stefan did 'help', he did it his way and for his own reasons. Not a big fan of this 'cure' story-line, it's very moonstone-esque and probably doesn't exist. I might give TVD a break until summer and catch up.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
OH dang, this was awesome, so many twist and turns.

BOOOOO!!!! No Caroline this week.
Well, he did bleed him (almost) dry. Breaking the neck is fast and painless. Bleeding him wasn't.
ReplyDeleteStefan probably enjoyed that part better.
First time here? Welcome.
ReplyDeleteInteresting name. Where are you from? Former Yugoslavia, I suppose.
Absolutely support you on the Shane/Bonnie part.

ReplyDeleteThank goodness and brains, someone to agree with me that this Stefan/Becca thing is weird and against any logic (not, that I expect any form JP)
