One hour was not long enough.....however what can you expect from a crappy network like ABC. I actually cried at the end.........XO running towards his wife.........The Captain dying on his sub.....The SEAL finding true love and peace...........Cobb kissing the ground.............and the crooked POTUS getting his. They ended it as best they could. Considering all the repeats last night it should have been at least 2 hours but what can you expect from ABC "The crappiest Network ever". Bon voyage Captain Chaplin (Andre Braugher) I will certainly miss your stellar weekly performance. Excellent cast of characters and so rich in story...............too bad a REAL network didn't pick up the show. I have certainly learned my lesson to never watch anything new on ABC EVER!
Oh god I cried, yes I did! We only got 13 episodes of this ambitious show and a little bit of a rushed ending but hey how many shows end after one season and kill of their crazy brilliant main character by having his submarine get blasted to pieces? Not many! I loved the final few moments where Marcus Chaplin put on his shades and stayed with his ship, his home. He believed in something, perhaps it was power, perhaps he was driven mad by grief but he believe in SOMETHING and stuck by that.
Finally got a chance to watch the awesome end of this great tale that deserved more time to tell it. Sure, like most have said, it was somewhat rushed in that they were trying to close as many of the loops as they could and still give us the fans a worthy close and they succeeded imho. Some stories still left hanging (Kylie, her father) but given the amount of time that they had to close the plots I am thankful that I went on this ride....
I voted Great.. it was a bit too rushed but I don't suppose that had any choice considering that was the final episode. I think 13 episodes was too short... if it had been made with the aim of only being one season of 22 episodes I think the pacing would have been better. That said it was good that they did wrap up almost everything.
A tad rushed but considering they were cancelled and they only had the end to change, but luckily they were able to give it a proper ending. That being said, I very much enjoyed it and the conversation with Marcus and Sam. Glad everyone got what's coming to them, but I am left wondering what will become of Kylie, hopefully they can save her.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Awesome Ending... that's all I have to say
ReplyDeletealthough they left us hanging with Kyle's story...
Awesome ending, my only question is, what happened to the admiral?
ReplyDeleteIt was both rushed and dragged out.
