  1. Pretty good start to the season that didn't quite grab me like season premieres past, but gave us enough to get going. I did like the intro of Patton Oswald's constable character, but would've loved to have seen more of Raylan's fellow marshalls, but understood why Raylan was supposed to be solo for the ep.. I almost didn't recognize Ron Eldard as he's put on a few lbs, but wonder how his character is going to develop

  2. I'm excited about Joseph Mazzello, AKA the church nut, AKA the kid from Jurassic Park. If he turns out to be the bad guy this season, color me interested.

  3. Great start to the season. A little mellow at times and was surprised at short it seemed, but still fun. But Raylan continues to kick ass and that is reason enough to be awesome.

  4. Liked Raylan's scruffy look, but I'm wondering what that implies. Aren't Boyd and Ava just a sweet little married couple? Eek. And Arlo's murder of his fellow prisoner was pretty chilling. Scary guy. A little less action than I was expecting, but good set up to next week. It'll be fun to watch the snake handling preacher and Boyd face off.
Hmmm. There was gunplay, a prisoner got shived and a teenage girl caught a knife in the foot...was this really a 'quiet' episode?

  5. Frigging amazing start doing what I love most about Justified being highly entertaining, having so great black comedy (had to laugh when Colt shot that guy) and introducing a bunch of interesting characters which I'm sure will reoccur. The end shocked me as well, I though Arlo might attack the guy but what a badass slitting his throat.

  6. I am so happy Justified is back! I love everything about it, the characters, their accents, the music, the dialog.....ect. I love the humor, especially Raylans comments.
This seasons opener wasn´t as good as the previous, but when that is said I love a mystery that has to do with Arlo. The dynamic between Raylan and Arlo was awesome, as always.

  7. Ya know I'm sure a few of us have thought that Furries should be shot, but DAYUM! XD

Not sure what to make of Constable Bob. I think too much of him could get old , but he was fun for one episode I guess.

Ron Eldard has sure changed since Blind Justice and ER!
"Take care of him" might just mean "Kill him" to a minion. Boyd should know to use more specificity! XD

I never got religious people in general, but snake-handling preachers are a whole 'nother level of creepy and delusional.

If not for the end with Arlo killing the inmate to cover his tracks regarding the diplomatic bag this would have been a bit disappointing to me honestly. That holds some intrigue to me unlike the new religious freak in town. Overall this was just a good episode to me, but I voted great.

  8. Good start to the season.
    - Starting off the season cranking AC/DC's "Badlands" definitely isn't a bad thing.
    - Raylan was way too easy on those kids. They stole his car and pointed a gun at him. There's no way in hell I would have made a deal with them.
    - I loved the airbag stunt Raylan pulled with the bail jumper. That was great.
    - Patton Oswalt was great. He's obviously full of crap but amusing nonetheless.
    - Ava is getting dark. She obviously hasn't pulled back from her whore-beating season finale.
    - I wonder how long it'll take Johnny to turn on Boyd this season?
    - The snake-handling preacher is way over the top. I'm more interested in why Lindsay Pulsipher was doing up there sitting silently and what role she'll have to play in all this.
    - Raylan's dad must be back on his meds because he's a lot more coherent than he was in the finale.
    - Even though I'm disappointed they didn't bring Ellstin Limehouse and Noble's Holler back into play, I'm fairly satisfied with this premiere anyway.
