  1. It isn't counting votes on "Awful" or "Poor" rating.

  2. fantastic ep that introduces the M = Moriarty mythos! Loved the interplay and deepening of the Holmes and Watson characters and JLM and LL really were on their game tonight... this great little show keeps getting better and better and is definitely a fave

I think this is the best Elementary episode. It beats BBCSherlock just for the way Moran and Moriarty were introduced. I adored it. Sherlock seeking revenge, exploring his past, and his future. I like it..

  4. I thought it was a pretty great episode. Only caught the last bit but it definitely hooked me in. It was nice to see the darker tone, and I did like the introduction to Moriarty. On a side note, must Elementary and Sherlock fans always be at it with each other? They are two distinct shows, with different actors, different story lines, and even a different location. If you think it's awful, you have that right. But if you mark it as such just because it's not Sherlock, that is very unreasonable of you. And if you dislike me for being honest, I could care less. But, please, have the decency to let me know why.

  5. Awesome is too little for this ep... I almost cried in the scene when Watson and Holmes talked on the station... Mr Miller deserve a Emmy for this... just saying.

  6. Aside from the names, the shows are almost polar opposites - both shows are great IMO and don't miss an episode of either.

  10. Absolutely fantastic episode! Extraordinary way to introduce Sherlocks nemesis.

And the performance by Johnny Lee Miller was brilliant. The way he struggles between what his deduction skills tell him and what he convinced himself of, that Moran killed Irene.

    Amazing, simply amazing.

  12. I totally agree that both shows are fantastic but very different in scope and feel and should be viewed and enjoyed for their own merits and not pitted against each other...

  14. This show keeps growing on me. Didn't actually suspact it to be this good. Was a little sceptical at first with John Watson being a woman (Joan Watson/Lucy Liu). But now I'm hooked. I enjoyed the Moriaty storyline and the Sherlock opening up over Irene.

  17. As far as what Sherlock Holmes is better ...let's face it........for me anyway what I love the most in any Sherlock show is the DEDUCING......the mind of Sherlock is what I adore. Sure it always helps to have great actors/actresses....but for me it is always about the DEDUCING of the crime. The brilliant scripting....the fact that you must really listen to everything that Sherlock says....the vocabulary he uses......in a book on the screen it is always about the DEDUCING...and his wonderful vocabulary and mind. Okay now that I have said that .....I must say that the only Sherlock's I have ever had a problem with were Gene Wilder and Robert Downey Jr.....to me you must have that ever so wonderful accent . When I read Sir Arthur Conan Doyle I hear Sherlock in my head and he has that wonderful accent.

  18. LOVED this episode! I always love episodes where the main character "goes dark". Love the emotions. The love, the anger, the grief...
