A good old love triangle is one of the best part of being a TV show fan, isn't it? If your favorite love triangle is not in the options of this poll, please leave your comment with your vote. Note: the options are from current shows.

Go nuts!

  1. Whoa! Voting is harder than I thought!

  2. the only triangle which doesn't drive me crazy is Nathan/Audrey/Duke, she could be amazing with either (the 2 guys would also go well together ;)

  3. Don't like love triangels at all... they are an over used plot device. I tend to feel strongly about one coupling and hate the other.

  4. Barney Robin Ted -love triangle or like beating the dead Horse (specially forced dragging of Ted Robin dead relationship even after 8 years).

  5. Seriously?? Beauty and the beast in 2nd?!!

  6. The Good Wife: Alicia/Will/Peter!

  7. FRINGE- Olivia, Peter, Fauxlivia. yes I realize it's not a current show, but I've not seen many of these shows or the ones I have seen don't even come close.

  8. I voted for other cause as many have said. A way over done thing that's only used for drama. There could be other things writers could use if they just tough outside the box.

  9. Me too. But I think it is exactly the purpose of the love triangle: supporting ONE couple over the other...

    ReplyDelete
  10. I'll go for Sookie/Eric/Bill... but maybe it should be a quadrangle Sookie/Eric/Bill/Alcide? :D

  11. I went with Hart of Dixie, because while I have more favorite pairs currently involved in love triangles, HOD is one of the few triangles I can stand the back and forth and I feel like both parties have good romantic potential.

  12. Mark/Sarah/Hank are great because you love both couples. I doesn't support one couple over the other.

  13. The only triangle I like on TV this year is George, Zoe and Wade from Hart of Dixie. At least they are cute and funny, they do not act too seriously ...
Well...may be a triangle will be interesting in the next episodes of OUAT.

  14. Wade, Zoe and George. And Zade all the way!!

    ReplyDelete
  15. I voted for them for that exact reason. The triangle is not used as a plot device like many shows but genuinely Audrey has a strong connection to both guys. I like seeing scenes where she is with either though I will probably always want her to end up with Nathan.

As for the others listed, I either don't watch the shows or find the triangles very weak even if I support some of the couplings. Otherwise they are just plain annoying :-)

  16. None. Triangles are awful and they ruin shows.

  17. Dawson/Joey/Pacey!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Brenda, Dylan and Kelly BH90210

    ReplyDelete
  19. I love Evan but he doesn't stand a chance against Vincent! Makes for great drama though and it doesn't help that both men are gorgeous!!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Jack, Emily and Daniel // Bill, Sookie and Eric // Carrie, Brody, Jessica

    ReplyDelete
  21. i don't even think Jack/Emily/Daniel should be consider a love triangle anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Other! Grimm's Nick/Juliette/Renard... And I'm fine with the triangles.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Can I put none of the above? They're typically very annoying and I'd rather just have one couple instead of the will they won't they between one person and 2 others.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I think the only love triangle I've ever actually enjoyed is Pushing Daisies's Ned/Chuck/Olive.

Of the ones in the list, Ted/Barney/Robin is the one I find most tolerable.

    ReplyDelete
  25. This!!
(So sorry! I clicked the down arrow accidentally. Then I clicked up and tried to remove down. Hope it's gone.)

    ReplyDelete
  26. Moonwisemama said it and I'll say it again: Nick/Juliette/Renard. It's a strange one because the latter two are under a love-spell.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Way too much stupid girly shows on the list. I'd vote for Bo-Lauren-Dyson triangle from Lost Girl.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I don´t why they have to bring us these triangles. Sometimes I am so sick of it. For example in Chicago fire or Hart of Dixie (I just hope Wade and Zoe will stay together)

    ReplyDelete
  29. Jack, Kate and Sawyer from Lost <3

    ReplyDelete
  30. Es la más maravillosa historia de amor.... adoro estos temas.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I mean only a fool can love a LOVE TRIANGLE.They suck and all they do is create ship wars.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Okay how can you even think of including Beauty and the Beast.like seriously??

Did i ever tell you the definition of Love Triangle...

When the center party has feelings for the other two parties,e.g TVD (Elene loves both Stefan and Damon),Revenge( Emily has feelings both for Daniel and Jack)....ummmm Beauty and the Beast NO(Catherine loves only Vincent and feels nothing what so ever for Evan)

So i hope now you know right??

    ReplyDelete
  33. I actually like love triangles when they're well done. They can potentially create some good drama and character evaluation. I imagine most are pretty crappy though. Of the shows mentioned, I only watch HIMYM, so Ted/Robin/Barney.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I would submit Saturn Returns and Worth for a rewatch. It's still building, but the elements are there. Even season 1 of TVD didn't have much of Elena "loving" Damon, but the triangle was still present.

    ReplyDelete
  35. TVD is a show based on love triangle of Elena Stefan and Damon ( i don't even watch the show and i know it and it's not about just season 1 or later season) while Beauty and the Beast is based on Vincent and Catherine's love story. They will throw people like Evan and Alex and Gabriel in Cat and Vincent's relationship to keep the show interesting. But can you seriously say that Evan and Catherine and Vincent make a love triangle??Than i would say Alex and Vincent and Catherine would rather make a love triangle cz atleast Vincent have feelings for Alex.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I would characterize it as a budding love triangle and I believe at least 346 other people do as well. I think in this upcoming arc they are putting in a triangle with Alex, but it is uncertain how long that will last. Right now at least, Evan is Cat's safe, normal world love option and she has considered it and he most certainly has. Love triangles don't have to be part of the underlying structure of the show to exist. Even in your second example, Revenge, Emily and Daniel weren't even a real couple in the first season--she was playing him--but it's still a triangle. You don't know if the Vincent/Cat love story is the only story this incarnation of Beauty and the Beast will tell, it was that way in the first one. But most obviously, there will be obstacles including additional love interests.

First now...lol the power of the beasties :)

  40. Love triangles are the bane of my TV watching existence. They are cheap drama that never seem to pay off and almost always drag down a show's story line. More importantly why would the other two hang around for someone so wishy washy they can't make up their mind about who they want to be with. That's not love. That's a passive-aggressive power play. I quickly lose respect for ALL sides of a love triangle that lasts longer than 3 episodes. Two need to grow some self-respect and the other needs to grow up and make up their own mind.

    ReplyDelete
  41. True Blood is the one I have the most invested in

    ReplyDelete
  42. Love Squares - Evan, Catherine, Vincent, & Alex. Aiden, Emily, Jack & Daniel. Tommy, Laurel, Oliver, the Huntress. There must be others..... I'm holding out for the Love heptagon.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I really despise love triangles. It just grates me when you are always rooting for one couple and they never get together. Such a cop out. I'd prefer the URST of couples rather than triangles.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I hate Love Triangles!

    ReplyDelete
  45. While i might want to agree with you on Daniel and Emily's relationship (Cz i don't like Daniel and Emily together) that she was just playing him.i can't cz she was starting to feel for him, even Takeda could tell. That's why i consider that a love triangle and not this one.
I think Evan is the one with all the feels for Cat,while Cat considers him nothing more than a really good friend who happen to be good looking.Yes the writers may go to Cat and Evan( as they're hinting)in the future to create more drama but it wouldn't be one of Elena and Damon kinda thing or Barney or Robin kinda thing or Jack and Emily, because in all these cases you can obviously tell that Robin loves Barney,Emily has some deep feelings for Jack, and Elena loves Damon if not the way she loves Stefan, yet she still loves him. While with Catherine and Evan you can't say that Cat has feelings for Evan or she loves him maybe not like the way she loves Vincent but she does love him.Can you??
And i agree love triangles doesn't necessarily have to be the underlying structure of the show to exist, yet it is most of the times.
Any how,i for one believe there's no chance of love triangles on Beauty and the Beast.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Exactly thats my point with this couple, as much as we know end game is VinCat, OMG we root for Evan as well, because he is so charming :)

    ReplyDelete
  47. I like everything about Beauty and the Beast :D

    ReplyDelete
  48. I think love triangles are interesting if writers put something original on it.... and not like most of the tv series , where triangles are banal and are the centre of the main story.Vampire diaries for example....i'm really bored bt stefan-elena-damon each character need to find someone new for him(her)self

    ReplyDelete
  49. I went for my addiction Beauty and the Beast Evan, Catherine and Vincent <3 I also like some of the other triangles

    ReplyDelete
  50. Don't watch last night's episode, because a triangle is there. :)

    ReplyDelete
  51. There's no point in discussing this anymore, when you're not even trying to understand what i'm saying....

    ReplyDelete
  52. Fringe. Olivia, Peter and Fauxlivia.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I totally agree. They have ruined more shows for me than any plot points.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I love Audrey and Nathan together .If they do a stupid love triangle I'am DONE with the show .

  55. Sam/Kara/Lee Battlestar Galactica
