Hadda be Finch suiting up! Just looking at him with the gun was amusing, but when you think it through, to the risk he's willing to take to save Reese, it packs an emotional punch, too. Would he have taken Bear as Back-up though? Fusco's whole Armenian adventure was fun, too: I loved him coming up from behind that car, pistols blazing. LEt's just not think about how he'd explain all that carnage to the PD, though, okay?
Already voted "Carter and Reese learn more about each other during interrogation." But I just realised that the scene just before John was 'rescued', where Finch gets the new numbers and finds out what is going to happen, was even better!
I really liked Finch suiting up and the Carter vs Reese interrogation, but my favorite scene was Jon walking into the prison yard and encountering his old 'friends' including Bear's ex-owner and Elias.
I really did not expect him to encounter old friends or foes since I don't watch the previews.
My favorite scene, and the saddest, was Donnelly, Carter, and Reese in the car. Talking about Reese as the Reese of the past, and Carter and Reese knowing he's not that man anymore.
I really wanted Donnelly to be able to understand how "sort of" wrong he was about The Man In a Suit. And to let Carter actually explain herself. But Donnelly was angry, upset, and felt betrayed by the one and only person he could have counted on to get Reese in prison.
When Finch got his number, initially thought - yay, perfect opportunity to have Donnelly "see the light"- and then dread, because all the Stanton scenes had to be leading up to something. Then Finch called and I knew something bad was gonna go down.
I really wished things turned out better for our FBI friend. *sniffles*
I was between tow sceenes the first when Finch suitting up hahaha it was AWESOME that look on his face i can't even describe it !!! But i voted the last sceene which made me said WTF !!!!!!!!!!!!! Kara Stanton is back and she is about to make things complicated !!!!
My favorite scene is every scene hahahaha.......no serious, my favorite is the flashback of Reese and Kara, the action in Prague and Paris was sexy and danger, plus Carter and Reese learn more about each other during interrogation.
Voted "Other" - the scene where Donnelly explains that he had suspected Carter all along. I liked Donnelly and was really sad to see him go. If he had survived the crash, he would have gotten them all by himself.
Finch with the huge gun was great too. You just know when Finch will actually get to use a gun, it will be epic. They've been stalling it for so long!
Although I could have picked quite a few of these great scenes, I went with the reveal of Kara Stanton extracting Reese. We've known she has been around and for her to appear now is a nice way to take one crazy "how the heck are we going to get out of this situation" and turn around and put us in another (This scene with it's "car crash extraction" is also a very Alais-esque scene), It's the most important scene because it's tying the whole story together nicely. The show is at a point where it's rather serialized and IMO that's what makes it so good and how we get the best character developments and fun suspenseful plots.
I voted for Carter and Reese getting to know each other .. and the other favorite scenes were Elias's & Cara's appearances .. both were awesome surprises..
Fusco was the laugh of the episode.. his open-month stance after the model kissed him was HILARIOUS..
For me the best scenes were towards the end, when The Who was playing in the background and we could see Harold getting ready to break out John and Fusco shootout behind car, EPIC. Both scenes were so unexpected, therefore so funny and even touching if You think about Harold and his comittment to John. The whole Fusco storyline was extremly short, but so hilarious. I'm starting to like Fusco more than Carter... Weird.
Considering Snow talking to Carter and giving her some information about Cara's plan, we know that Cara knows about Carter and if she wants to make John do things for her she can use that weakness and threat him with hurting Carter,
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

Gotta be Finch suiting up. EPIC. The look on his face!

Oh yes! That was a good one too! Especially because I adore Bear... It's hard for me not to simply include every scene with Bear...

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for the check boxes. They made me so happy!
ReplyDeleteI picked Fusco is busy, Finch hacks Carter's earbud and Finch suiting up. :-)
I was on the edge of my seat several times during this episode. By turns sad, funny and exciting, it was surely one of the best episodes yet.
ReplyDeleteFinch going Comando!!!
ReplyDeleteI am going to miss Donnelly,
ReplyDeleteEverything with Fusco!

ReplyDeleteFusco is Cool.
ReplyDeleteI knew Kara will come for Reese, and they were Smashing partners.
ReplyDeletemore than that they were lovers but i think Kara has a cause and she ll need Reese to make it happen !!!
ReplyDeleteHave to go with Other - since the best thing in the whole episode was the whole car-gunfight sequence with Fusco, lol.
ReplyDeleteWhen Donnelly said to Carter that he saw genuine concern in her eyes when she talked to John- That's how he knew they were involved.. Great moment !
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scene is every scene hahahaha.......no serious, my favorite is the flashback of Reese and Kara, the action in Prague and Paris was sexy and danger, plus Carter and Reese learn more about each other during interrogation.
ReplyDeleteI like to think he understood in the end, when Finch called him to warn about his upcoming death, that they had been doing good all along!

A tie between the car crash and Reese getting kidnapped and the machine calling Finch in a panic. I love it when machines care.
ReplyDeleteYes but I have this feeling that she will not hurt him, although the future is unknown.
ReplyDeleteI love those flashbacks too, Reese and Kara are amazing CIA operatives.
ReplyDeleteThe machine calling in a panic was a great moment! I loved how Finch tried to ignore it and just couldn't!
ReplyDeleteThey are the best.

ReplyDeleteThe final scene was my favorite, but also love Finch getting dressed and all the prison yard scenes!

ReplyDeleteFusco was the laugh of the episode.. his open-month stance after the model kissed him was HILARIOUS..
i agree she has feelings for him but obviously she is a cold blooded CIA agent she ll kill him without a single thought if he tries to escape !!!
ReplyDeleteHis face was just priceless lol And you just see how much Finch takes care of Reese <3

ReplyDeleteLoved Carter getting in Donnally's face after the interrogation of the last of the 3 other 'men in the suit." You go, Joss!!

ReplyDeleteI think that's what is going to happen but we will have to wait and see what the writers prepared for us :D
