Jennifer Lawrence and RDJ should host something together
ReplyDeleteSo the fact that Leverage won makes me super happy :-) I'm gonna miss it.
ReplyDeleteI'm confused. I just saw Sandra Bullock give an acceptance speech but she's not on this list.
ReplyDeleteAside from Avengers/RDJ and Leverage wins, I disagree with these winners. But that's ok... I tend to not agree with most award shows, to each their own.
ReplyDeleteSo happy for Grey's Anatomy, Ellen Pompeo, Lea Michele and Chris Colfer. But, seriously... Best comedy Ted? Best comedy actor Adam Sandler? Best drama actor Zac Efron? I thought that had to be a joke... Anyway, congrats to all the winners.
ReplyDeleteyehhhhhhhhhhhh
ReplyDeletewell done SPN!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYay!!! Castle & Nathan!!!!!!! wowo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteNF & Castle !
ReplyDeleteEllen Pompeo?! Really?! But yay for Castle and NF!
ReplyDeleteJared and Gen before the event looking stunning! Love the co-ordination.
ReplyDeleteI guess the people have spoken. I don't agree with at least half of the award winners, but then again I never expected to. As you can vote as many times as you like I think it reflects how devoted the relevant fandoms are! A more interesting set of results would be if people were only allowed to vote once... think there would have been quite a few different winners in that case, but I am sure I would still have disagreed with a lot of them!
ReplyDeleteWow those are pretty awful choices... Only happy for Awkward and Leverage...
ReplyDeleteChris Colfer and Lea Michele as Favorite Comedy Actors? Seriously?
ReplyDeleteWooooo! Win for supernatural. And they were invited this year!! Even better.
ReplyDeleteEllen Pomeo would not have received this award if any of the other nominees were there, just saying
ReplyDeleteBeauty and The Beast winning over Arrow ? Supernatural beating The Walking Dead ? What the hell is going on ? !!!!!
ReplyDeleteor was she there because she was told she had won and the others werent because they were told they hadnt?
ReplyDeleteits a multiple voting system, basically the shows/films/actors etc whose fans vote the most (no limit to how many times anyone can vote) will win the prizes. The PCA's have never claimed otherwise.
ReplyDeleteI think they're both great and curently two of the best on TV
ReplyDeleteI would have been happy with any of the Favorite Dramatic TV Actor winners and when I saw Nathan was on this, knew my pick Jensen, was going to lose. Hard to beat Castle, hated that Stana did not win also. SPN got 2 and that makes me very happy. Beauty winning over Arrow was a total surprise and just so wrong. lol Anyway this is why I don't watch any award show and this one would be so much better if you could only vote one time, but the whole idea is for page hits.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if this will actually increase Beauty's chances of renewal? Will it do a POI and start gaining viewers? I bet the CW are hoping so.
ReplyDeletewell done to all the winners clearly you're fans are dedicated and appreciate you. You all deserved your wins.
ReplyDeleteGlee is more drama that comedy, and there were more talented actor in the nominees than these two.
ReplyDeletethat's a fucking joke since when is that comedy Kaley, Jim or Neil should have won
ReplyDeleteGood for Nathan and Castle! Almost all winners match with twitter votes , but Elle Pompeo won as dramatic actress???? seriously, it should have won Stana, Nina or Emily, but Ellen????
ReplyDeleteI don't think anyone really pays attention to PCA since you can vote hundreds of times..remember Moonlight won and got cancelled by CBS.
ReplyDeleteGlad about some of them, not very happy about some other. Still, congratulations to all the winners!
ReplyDeleteYep,you got it!
ReplyDeleteSo according to the winner's list "the people" are 11 to 25 year old girls.
ReplyDeleteSUPERNATURAL--->we are the BEST FANS <3
ReplyDeleteEllen Pompeo?? i mean i expected it to be either Stana or Nina.
ReplyDelete\o/ True Blood and Supernatural !!!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree ! Lea and Chris are great but it's more drama than comedy, and the cast of big bang theory is hilarious, they should have one this
ReplyDeleteAh the ''who has the most fanatical fanbase'' awards. I'll be moving along. :P
ReplyDeleteSo proud of my Castle family ! But one thing is missing : Stana's victory =(
ReplyDeleteWell, we'll get the 3 next year
This feels more like Teen Choice Awards...
ReplyDeleteMe neither!I still watch it! :(
ReplyDeleteCongrats 2 the entire CASTLE family - cast, crew 4 Favorite TV Crime Drama:Castle & Favorite Dramatic TV Actor: Nathan Fillion; Just a little disagreement that STANA KATIC,was not the best dramatic actress. (Ellen Pompeo well deserved her award ), BUT AGAIN IN MY OPINION STANA KATIC,DESERVED THE AWARD @ 100% ..!!!! & ALSO JIM PARSONS, from The Big Bang Theory ( was my Favorite 4 Comedic TV Actor).
ReplyDeleteTHE PEOPLE SPOKE WE ALL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL NEXT YEAR. & AND WITH THIS THOUGHT OF ARISTOTLE (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher: HOPE IS THE DREAM OF THE WAKING MAN.
\o/ True Blood and Supernatural (Castle too)
ReplyDeleteI'm happy for Grey's and Ellen Pompeo, good surprises.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I missed something but I really wish the People's Choice Awards had advertised a lot more about when the show would air and voting. Two days before the show I became aware of the award show and by then voting was closed for all but 5 categories. Bummer.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I seriously don't understand how Ellen Pompeo won anything. I blame it on poor advertising on the Awards show's part. I didn't know about the show until 2 days prior and the majority of categories were already closed to voting.
ReplyDeleteYes, we are :)
ReplyDeleteI agree. Anyone but Ellen Pompeo.
ReplyDeleteB&B didn't do anything for me. Stopped watching it long ago. I like Arrow.
ReplyDeleteI really liked Moonlight.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Beauty over Arrow was way wrong. I blame it on poor advertisement.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure all the winners knew ahead of time and that's why they showed up. As of Monday, voting was only open for about 5 categories. All other votes were already tallied.
ReplyDeleteYes, I think Genevieve was stunning in that gown and she has beautiful hair. Danneel Ackles gold dress was just garish.
ReplyDeleteThere is a hole in me where Leverage used to be :(
ReplyDeleteI think it is the best show Alex has been on, much better than h50
ReplyDeleteCept it doesn't make sense. It's just weird, since I haven't known EP for having such a huge fanbase. I expected Nina or Stana to win tbh. I'm calling foul on most of this, either that or the 12-16 yr olds been at the voting machines again, judging from some of the outcomes.
ReplyDeleteAnd the show was a thousand times better than last year. Coincidence? I think not. :-P
ReplyDeleteDoubt it. Lie to Me still got cancelled after it won. I don't think a win will resurrect Leverage either (although I wish it would.) However my bet is that the CW does an ad campaign with shows winning just like it did last year and more ad dollars is never a bad thing for a show.
ReplyDeleteNot the Supernatural wins. We skew on average between 25 and 45.
ReplyDeleteI think, since they are people's choice awards, they rely on the online fandoms to let their people know about it. Supernatural websites have been promoting it from the nomination level on. I saw producers, star, and publicists from all kinds of shows tweeting it. Nathan Fillion from Castle did an awesome job of tweeting about it and also Jim Michaels and guest stars from Supernatural (Mrs. Tran especially along with Benny, Ellen and others). Jared Padalecki from Supernatural tweeted about it too. The White Collar group also promoted it a lot. I think the PCA's depend on Facebook and Twitter primarily to keep people abreast of the deadlines and encourage voting.
ReplyDeleteyes but season 8 still isn't as good as supernatural was for it's first 5 seasons and i didn't hate season 7 but i didn't love it either i'm kinda mixed about season 7 i even liked season 6 more then 7
ReplyDeletewell Glee is technically classified as a "Comedy" and glee has a huge fanbase so i guess that has something to do with it
ReplyDeleteNo argument about season 8 from me. It is coming dangerously close to beating season 4 in my worst season list. I really enjoyed seasons 6 and 7 after the depression and despair that called itself seasons 4 and 5.
ReplyDeletei actually loved season 4 and 5 though
ReplyDeleteprobaly my favourite seasns in the series it's just season 6 & 7 i was dissapointed with
ReplyDeleteSeason 4 was the absolute worst for me, especially once it hit the midseason. Season 5 was slightly better. I am a huge fan of the first 3 seasons with season 3 pre-writers' strike being my favorite. After the writers' strike, season 3 was a big old mess of wasted potential. When looking at seasons as a whole, season 2 was by far the most superior in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteAgain my pick it upside down from yours, I loved season 4 and season 8 is coming close to becoming my favorite. Depends on how the rest of the eps go and no more "Bitten" dogs.
ReplyDeleteSame here, Lisa. I'm still in denial!
ReplyDeleteI'm delighted they got at least this recognition, though. They will be sorely missed!
I have loved all seasons of SN. There are episodes that I don't care for, but I have enjoyed each season and the overall story they have told each year. I find it interesting that SN has won the PCAs for Scifi/fantasy three of four times. Only losing to Fringe during season 6.
ReplyDeleteI've really w joyed this season so far. Season four is easily my least favourite too. Too much sadness and depression and brotherly fighting.
ReplyDeleteBut nothing nowadays really compares to the first three seasons. God they were good. My sister is finally old enough to watch so I'm watching season one with her now. I love how the boys are so young an innocent and getting caught by police were there biggest worries. And they didn't know what demons were. Let alone Angels or leviathans. Ah the nostalgia
the best thing about the people's choice awards, for me, was kaley. she really is awesome and i really hop she eventually gets recognized by the emmys or the globes for her portrayal as penny on the big bang theory. She is under appreciated
ReplyDeleteFavorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Show - Supernatural
ReplyDeleteNo offense, but I don't get how this could happen. I used to be a "fan" myself and used to love it 100% but after season 5 they disappointed me more and more.
Sadly, they still win. In my opinion there are way better Sci-Fi/Fantasy Shows like The Walking Dead, Fringe (not even nominated?!?), Dr Who.. but apparently the Supernatural fans were eager enough to win this thing. Congratulations. :)
Season 8 is my least favorite season, I absolutely loved seasons 1-7
ReplyDeleteSAME HERE
ReplyDeleteI miss Moonlight. I stopped watching CBS after they cancelled it (and a whole bunch of other shows) that year
ReplyDeleteYay for Castle and Nathan Fillion! :D
ReplyDeleteWow there were a lot of under 18 voters in this one. I'm glad Leverage got an award. I will miss that show. SPN Family Fandom won, of course. YES. Supernatural won best SciFi and it irritates my daughter no end. If the Jensen and Jared hadn't both been in the running for Best Dramatic Actor there would have been a Supernatural winner there also. The fandom was split on that one. Jensen and Danneel had pics of him holding the baby bump. The looked very happy. In an interview he stated the baby was due in the summer during hiatus. He talked as if he knew there would be a season 9. The CW has told shows they were renewed in January more than one time. Jared has let it out. Looks like Jensen may have this time.
ReplyDeleteCastle average of age, according to nielsen, is 69 years old, yeahh!! thanks all grandparents who vote for Castle and Nathan hahahaha
ReplyDeleteHow about great grand parents that voted for Jensen & SPN, but as soon as I saw Nathan in the running I knew we had lost. I am a big fan of Castle & Beckett also. ;)
ReplyDeleteI watch SPN and think a lot of stuff would go over younger kids heads and I love it. lol
ReplyDeleteI'd blame it on the power and strategy of a few #beasties against being comfortable arrow fans
ReplyDeleteHow could Ted win Best Comedic movie? I mean, seriously, I watched this film and it was not funny.
ReplyDelete
