Parks and Recreation - Most likely will be renewed (according to TVBTN)

23 Jan 2013

The exception to that trend was the 2013 of Parks & Recreation which tied its season high last week. That, plus the plunge elsewhere moves its prediction up to "certain to be renewed".

  1. This is a misleading title. It's quoting the speculation of someone on another website.

  2. YAY! It's absolutely brilliant this season!

  3. Parks & Rec and Community are by far the best comedies on TV and definitely deserve to stick around.

  4. That's exciting news - even if I am a couple seasons behind!

  5. Ha, that title is a bit misleading. Of course it's great that a website puts Parks & Rec in that category, but it remains a prediction, which will hopefully transform into reality in a few months.

  6. Agreed. I could also speculate that NBC's ordering of several comedies that have no real place in their lineup is not a good sign(though that isn't actually what I think).

  7. None of their pilots sound all that great.

Community, Up All Night, and 1600 Penn are probably gone. I'm 98% certain on this. The others, not so sure.

  8. I really dont think Go On is that safe after the last couple of weeks without The Voice. It`s really weak without The Voice in the numbers.

  9. Parks has been considered a safe bet for a while now out of all the Thurs NBC shows, I suspect S6 may be its last which will make me sad because unlike other shows which I felt like needed to end as they are past their best (the office for example) Parks is stronger than ever.

  10. And The Voice will be back soon, so the ratings will probably go up. I'm not all that worried.

NBC won't get rid of most of their comedies in one fell swoop so I think it'll be safe.

  11. TBS needs to renew Community, bring back Dan Harmon, and pair it up with Cougar Town.

  12. Its ratings compared to NBC's other comedies mean that it deserves it, plus sindication

  13. Parks and Rec is probably safe. Community's gone. 30 Rock and The Office are ending.

NBC isn't stupid enough to get rid of its entire Thursday night line-up in one fell swoop.

  14. The odds aren't good, I think. And I just don't have a good feeling about a renewal for Community.

  15. Those two plus Archer.

  16. Most episodes of Go On would be aired by then.
