  1. So I'm assuming this is the episode where we finally learn Charming's real name. The giant obviously thinks Charming is his (dead) brother.

  2. Brought to Storybrooke by Cora yet Barbara doesn't appear in this ep? Hmm.

  3. I'm hoping the special effects for the giant improve in this episode...

  4. Eddy and Adam said on the latest podcast that his name will be revealed in this episode.

  5. 'Cassidy Freeman' as Jack. I'm assuming it's Jack from "Jack and the Beanstalk" but he's played by a girl?

  6. Can't wait to find out Charming's real name! I think it's either David (LOL) or Shepherd, tbh.

  7. God I hope it's not David. Too many bad memories associated with that persona/name. Lol. Although I do love Charming and to a certain degree David. If it's not a new name then I hope it's actually James. Seems like something Rumple would do, give separated twins the same name.

  8. Well, Josh said Charming's real name was obvious, so that's why I'm going with David or Shepherd.

I will LOL forever if it's actually James, too. As least we wouldn't have to start calling him by yet another name.

  9. Wasn't Jack a sword or something?

  10. I hope they bring him to Storybrooke in normal human size. Enough with unnecessary bad CGI.

  11. Maybe it's a cliffhanger from the previous episode....

  12. Interesting....

  13. I read Gregor Mendel instead of Greg Mendell and was like "what????"! lol!

  14. I actually think that Charming is related to Jack (who we saw the skeleton of in a previous episode...)

  15. I was hoping it would be Charlie! Charming Charlie has a nice ring to it (I think that's a store's name, too). Also the song Neal was listening to in 2x01 was Charley's Girl.

  16. She was in like two episodes last season. She works in the psych ward.

  17. I think you're probably right. It would seem to be a fitting cliffy. Wondering how on Earth Rumple/Henry/Emma skip town with that threat looming overhead though. I'm assuming the latter tho might be purposely kept out of the loop, as Rumple is shown to have dealings again with Cora.

  18. Jack was the skeleton holding a sword in the Giant episode. I'm assuming a giant-killer sword somehow, since Hook seemed to make quips about it in that context.

  19. It would make sense for him to get shrunk down anyway. For one thing, it could be a logical implication of the curse (or whatever's left of it). For another, none of the interdimensional portals we've seen thus far in this series are large enough to admit an actual giant.

  20. The thing I keep wondering is, when will the Little Mermaid show up? I'm beginning to think they might be saving that story for Season 3. Which would be okay, except that I'm really looking forward to seeing how they're planning to incorporate it into the established mythology (after the clues we got in "Skin Deep" and "Into the Deep").

Wow, that's the first time I noticed that both episodes referring to the Little Mermaid have "Deep" in the title. Coincidence? Probably.

  21. Ah, yes. That would explain it. Unless Charming and the real James and Jack were all triplets. Which wouldn't be the craziest thing that's ever happened on this show.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Probably it is.

  23. I wonder why they've waited so long? I have a feeling his name might turn out to be yet another shocker.

  24. I've read that if OUAT gets a third season (which is pretty likely) then the little mermaid will show up. There's a lot going on in this season already though. I'm excited for whatever her storyline may be!

  25. I also think it's most probably David. If it's not, it could be Jack (and he's a shepherd, a reference to Lost), or maybe Richard (as in king Richard the Lionheart, a reference to his bravery). But it would be pretty cool if his name was William. :)

  26. Yeah, I doubt they would have been able to fit it in this year anyway.

  27. My money is on Jack is Charming + James's papa.

    ReplyDelete
  28. It will be funny if Charming's real name is Josh... just like his real real name.

  29. Jack is played by Cassidy Freeman (who's definitely not a guy! lol) But, yeah I still reckon Charming is still related to Jack (probably Jacqueline).
