It's interesting to hear the different points of view from the characters about the Storybrooke / FTL situation. I hope there will be more that weigh in on this topic.
I agree. Some may say "of course they would want to stay in our more technologically advanced/comfortable world" but I think a lot of the characters' desire to return to FTL has to do with the fact that they were forcibly removed from their home without their consent. Both sides have valid points. At the moment, I think the most important thing to work on is to find a way to travel safely between the two worlds. And then each person/family can decide where they want to live.
The people that want to go back to FTL may want to consider the fact that if they lived in an area not protected by Cora's protective spell then chances are their former home and surrounding land is completely decimated. It's most likely that there's nothing to go home to for most Storybrooke residents.
I really want a flashback to the Ogre wars, either with Rumple, Belle or Granny. But... maybe in a few years when Once (hopefully) has a better budget? :P
It might be an interesting prospect to consider "how" FTL was built in the first place...I mean are all those palaces and homes "hand built" or where was almost everything created there, created by magic???
I completely forgot about the whole "magic" aspect. Such a bad fan, lol. Such an obvious quick fix to the whole decimated FTL if the producers decided they ever wanted everyone to return there.
I guess Snow doesn't want to go back because she doesn't want to lose her daughter and her grandson. It's pretty obviously that Emma doesn't see the FTL as her home.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I smell another ogre war in the future! If they really want to go back and clean things up.

ReplyDeleteNext thing we know they'll upload they entire episode online before it airs. Not that I'm complaining, obviously.
ReplyDeleteIMO, its far more likely that Ogres will somehow start leaking to storybrooke - possibly through the mines bellow the town...
ReplyDeleteAnd then Storybrooke will have their own hellmouth.

ReplyDelete"Cora's in power". Oh how I love unsuspecting characters. That's gon' be a bit of a surprise.
ReplyDeleteMake Buffy or Faith appear and I'm sold on that.

ReplyDeletehome is home is obvious they gonna miss their home and gonna do anything to get back!
ReplyDeleteEmma and Regina can roleplay that.
ReplyDeletelol no guesses as to whom roleplays whom, and now I miss Buffy :(
ReplyDeleteI think it's weird, that Snow and Charming call each other by their Storybrooke names...
ReplyDeleteIt's bugged me ALL season.

ReplyDeleteLets send ABC a letter.
ReplyDeleteThey use both names.
ReplyDeleteI'd rather not, I really do enjoy seeing a lot of sneak peeks and the episode is always surprising to me still.
